Sapphire was barely at the docks before whispers of a fight reached her ear. She couldn't help but roll her eyes as she had assumed that it was between two of the newfound crew. Fights were not uncommon when they were at sea, but not at the start. Her pace quickened to a run, reaching thr ship quite quickly, where she found her crew staring at the water and a grey form underneath that seemed only to fall lower. One of the women came to her side and was shaking her head. "A Knight of the Kings court came, he fought with two of the lads, we locked 'em in your cabin to calm them but the gentleman fell in. Sapphire withheld her favoured eye roll to pull off her boots and to give her hat to the crewmate. With little care to words from the crew, she jumped into the water, rushing to try and get to the man before it may be too late.
It wasn't particularly easy to see in these waters, but the faint light still glimmered on the man's armour so she grabbed out at that, struggling herself to hold her breath. The first try was unsuccessful so she tried again, using her legs to push herself closer, then making another try. She caught a joint in his armour and used all her might to pull him up closer to her. This forced her breath out and she would have groaned if it wouldn't have made things more difficult. In the corner of her eye was one of the men she had recruited, finally someone useful, she thought. It wasn't long before both the Knight and herself were back above water. Taking heavy breaths, she was lifted out of the water and simply lay still for a moment. Wondering if the Knight was even alive at this point, she was unsure of how long he had already been under the water, though her arms ached a little from the weight of him in the armour, so she knew why he hadn't been able to come back up.

Sir Sebastian ReynoldsThe knight was still breathing, barely, but he wouldn't be waking up anytime soon. One of Sapphire's new crew members shifted the knight's hand with his foot. "So, what should we do with him? I think he's dead." One of the others smacked him over the back of the head. Murmurs broke out between the crew, and separate ones spread through the onlooking crowd. This wasn't a good situation. What was worse, the other knights had already found their way to the ship and were closing in. They didn't appear to happy that the pirates could have possibly killed one of their own. "Got any bright ideas, cap'n?"(Ack, sorry this is so short. My brain is dead on this Saturday)

Sapphire was aided in getting up by the women and she gladly accepted a blanket around her shoulders. She couldn't have been more aware of the scene this had caused and she well wanted answers but it would have to wait. "He'll have to come with us. Put him on my bed, in my cabin - but take his armour off first. We need to get moving, and quickly." Those were her orders, simple enough to be understood. She gestured for them to get it all going before she stepped back onto the ship. Everything seemed to have been delivered, if it hadn't, they would need to figure that out as they went along. For the first bit of excitement in her life as Captain, it wasn't half bad. With a grin on her face, she made sure that things were going to work quickly and as efficiently as possible to get the old Siren's Call moving.

Two of the men hefted the heavy knight between them and carried him to the ship, the rest of the crew finishing up with the cargo loading. Thankfully, the crowd managed to slow the knights' approach and gave them enough time to push out of the port and out to sea, leaving the knights unable to follow. The men removed the knight's armor and left him be on the captian's bed, moving on to do whatever other tasks she had in store for them. It would be another few hours before the knight awoke, and now the only thing Sapphire had to worry about was getting the Siren's Call out of the king's domain.
He hurt. Every part of his body ached with cold. Sir Sebastian forced himself to open his eyes, and he awoke with a start when he didn't recognize his surroundings. What he saw was not the castle infirmary, but a well decorated cabin of a ship, which he knew was a ship due to the rocking of the waves under his feet. The knight no longer wore his armor, and both that and his sword, shield, and mount were nowhere to be found. What in the bloody name of God happened? The knight staggered to his feet unsteadily, his vision briefly going dark and his head spinning as he coughed up water. Luckily he knew enough not to have inhaled any earlier. He pushed opened the door to the ship's deck and light blinded him briefly. "Captain!" A voice on the deck shouted. "He's awake!"

With a new, somewhat clueless crew, manoeuvring her ship wasn't the easiest of tasks, but it was so far working and they were moving at a decent speed away from the place of the crime. Sapphire had firm words with the two crewmates whom had been in the physical altercation. The point of her coming to their previous home was not to cause any trouble, simply to stock up on necessary things for the journey. Though, she supposed these things were new to the folks and that they would get used to it as time went on. She had changed from her sodden clothing, once they had safely left the port, she knew they could well be followed, so she made it quick and made herself the one to keep a lookout. When she heard the shout from her crewmate, she raised a brow and smirked lightly, making her way from the starboard side to her cabin. She lightly knocked and pushed open the door. "Good afternoon, Sir. I trust you slept well?" Her tone was jovial, but kept a firm and fearless level beneath it.

The knight had returned to the dark interior of the cabin, rubbing his eyes when a knock was heard from the door. He turned to find that a woman had come inside and greeted him. "Slept well?" He grunted in response, rubbing his shoulder. It ached from where he hit the water. "I nearly drowned. Do you expect me to have slept well?" He paced briefly along the length of the room. "I take it you are the captain of this vessel, yes?" He observed, studying her dress. "If you are, then I thank you for saving my life. But do not expect me to forgive the members of your crew who threw me in. Now, where have you placed my armor? I expect it returned to me and to be returned to my homeland at once, and I shall speak to the king about not killing you and your ocean swine." He would not remain a prisoner on this vessel. He had a task to bring in the pirate captain, and he intended to do just that.

The woman expected confrontation from the injured gentleman, so she was somewhat surprised that he kept a calm cover as he spoke. She listened in silence to his requests, her arms folded across her chest and her gaze keeping firmly on him to show her attention. The room stayed silent for some moments longer before Sapphire let out a heavy sigh. "It is a little far for you to swim back now, I am afraid." There was a very brief silence once more. "Who is your King?" It was a demand, more than a question, she had a knowledge of rulers names and this meant she could give a name to the location of the stop she had made. Meaning it was one more place marked off on her maps.

"King Edward the Third." He informed her rather harshly. "And I will not be swimming back. You are to take me back and turn yourself in to His Majesty." Sebastian informed her. "As a pirate, I am sure you have no grasp on the law, but you cannot hold me here against my will." The knight doubted she would obey what he asked of her, but he wanted to try being civil first before turning to violence. And in this instance, he would not refrain from attacking a woman, for this pirate was certainly no lady. "Why did you not just leave me on the docks? They will only pursue you now."

She raised her brows and her grin grew wider. "Oh, how interesting. I returned home and did not even recognise the place." She went behind the large desk, taking a seat at the comfortable looking lounge chair. "I think you will find that I am the Captain here. I give the orders and make the decisions. There is far more to it than just that, but I don't see you caring." She removed her hat and softly put it onto the desk, leaning back to get more comfortable. "It might surprise you to learn that Pirates have a law for themselves. One of them being that we do not kill where it is not necessary. I was not about to let you die because of my crew being uneducated, it's a work in progress. Also, as a Knight, you have skills that could well be useful. I couldn't leave this opportunity simply to waste."

The knight began to lose his patience with the pirate. "Whether you have your own law or not, that does not give you the freedom to break the laws set in place by the lands you dock in." Sir Sebastian placed his hands on the desk and returned her stare with a chilling one of his own. "If you believe that I will do anything on this God-forsaken ship to help you or your crew, then you are sorely mistaken, pirate. You'd be better off feeding me to the sharks than trying to recruit me." He allowed that to sink in. It was quite likely she would just accept his offer and throw him overboard, but if his skill set was as valuable to her as she made it out to be, then her methods would likely change.
