Speckleflame took Palepaw's paws off of Mudkit, then placed Mudkit back. "Do you know the difference now?"

"Yes." Palepaw didn't really understand what she was trying to do. Sure, he was cold, but he was breathing and had a heartbeat.

Oakpelt;;

"Where's that fleabag running to?" Oakpelt hissed.

[PopcornWaffle]

"Want to try and eat the fish?" Speckleflame prodded the silver fish.

Mudkit;;

Mudkit continued to scream, shaking and cutting off Palepaw's reply. He waddled - well, more like squirmed, having just opened his eyes - towards Speckleflame, hiding under her tail.

[PopcornWaffle]

Speckleflame purred and put Mudkit between her legs and groomed him in rhythmic and gentle strokes. She was waiting for Palepaw's reply now.

Mudkit;;

Mudkit silenced Palepaw's response again with an angry scream. But Palepaw did finish with a 'no'. Mudkit turned and looked at Speckleflame and screeched at her.
