She smiled. "I don't know. What are you doing?"

I said "we are having barbeque by a lake."

"I would love to come. Sounds fun. Where should I meet you? " She leaned on the counter.

I said "I could just pick you up after work tomorrow....and...I-i your dad serious about dinner...." I looked at her.

"He asked you to come?" She smiled and slightly shook her head. "Come by around 5 tonight if you want to come. If not that's okay."

I smiled and shrugged a bit. I said "I don't have much else to do."

She smiled. "So I will see you at 5 tonight then. Meet me here. I should get back to work but if you need to get ahold of me you have my number...and you know where I work. "

I smiled and said "I do and I'll pick you up after work." I smiled at her before turning around and walking out I got into my truck and drove back parking. I got out and walked over to Chris giving him the food and drink. He looked at me and said "took ya long enough." I said "sorry her dad came over to talk to me. Apperantly I'm goin to dinner with her and her father.

Amber smiled to herself. He was cute. She just hoped that he wasn't like the others. She headed to her office and worked on the schedule for next month.
