Name: Sapphire-Lily
Age: 21
Height: 5"3
Hair Color: Natural Red
Eye Color: Heterochromia (x)
Skin Tone: Light Tan
Positive Traits: Loyal, Strong, Trustworthy
Negative Traits: Fiery, Indecisive, Easily Discouraged
Body Mods: Ear Piercings, the brand of Pirates on her left wrist.
Backstory: Sapphire is the illegitimate and estranged youngest daughter of a British Nobleman. She doesn't speak of him and vice versa, she wishes to pay him a visit when she is more feared, perhaps then she would receive the answers she deserves. She grew up in a poor setting, having to work from a young age and until the unfortunate incident of her kidnapping during a raid on her home town. At 17, she was forced to clean and cook for a Pirate crew. Though some of the crew were kind to her, the Captain was a horrible man, with no respect for anyone, not even his First Mate. She became a well loved member of the crew, and a strongly feared Pirate through the seas, known for her fair looks and gifted swordplay. The Siren, she was known by their enemies, the ones that survived. Four years into being underneath a cruel Captain, led to a successful mutiny. The celebrations lasted weeks, much of this time was not remembered due to the seemingly endless supply of whiskey and rum. Sapphire had herself left at an unfamiliar island, where she brought together a partial crew of her own. She had a beautiful ship resting in the docks and clothing that gave a wealthy air, but the definite sign of being a Pirate. Her time here would soon be at a close, the ocean was calling her home.

Name: Sir Sebastian Reynolds
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Height: 5'8
Hair Color: Brunette
Eye Color: Brown
Skin Tone: Mid-deep tan
Positive Traits: Loyal, Even-tempered, Efficient, Reliable
Negative Traits: Intolerant, Resentful, Stubborn, Harsh
History: Born a peasant, he lived with his mother and father on their farm outside the city. Some time when he was a young boy, they found a young child and adopted her into their family. Everything went pretty okay in their life until a fire started in their village. His mother died in the fire and his father was driven mad with grief, so he took himself and his younger sister away and the two lived together on their own since he was old enough to care for her. More people would have died in that fire, but knights in the king's court managed to stop the blaze and rescue villagers. His sister was utterly enthralled and wanted to be a knight herself, but it would've been impossible if they knew she was a woman. So, he went with her and became a knight as well, and they were pretty much inseparable. She was one of the best knights in the legion, and he worked with her to make sure no one found out her true identity. One day however, his sister vanished, leaving him alone to live his life. He now spends his every free moment searching for her.

The only reason that Sapphire had docked The Siren's Call at this place, was for the pure fact she needed supplies. There was nowhere else she knew of that was close enough for her to get to without starving or dehydrating. The first thing she did was go to the closest tavern to the docks and purchase three tankards of ale. With this, she asked for a meal, with extras of every food item on the plate, paying more than happily for the cost. It made her wonder if her Pirate appearance gave the people around her a fear of refusing her service, or if they were simply nice people. That would make a change in the humanity she discovered that a majority of people lacked. It was not long before Sapphire had devoured her meal and she was out on the street. It took even less time to find a poverty stricken area, this is where she decided she would find her crew. These people seemed the ones who would be most thankful for a comfortable place to sleep, regular meals and with the additional opportunity to travel the world, she was certain she could find a suitable crew.

Sir Sebastian Reynolds
"My lord, you summoned me?" The knight and his allies knelt before the man who they served, which was the current king of Britannia, King Edward III. Though he led the kingdom strong through the dark days of the plague, his age was beginning to catch up to him in recent years. "Yes. Pirates have been spotted at the docks. You are to capture their captain and bring him in to be prosecuted. I will not tolerate such swine in my lands." Sir Sebastian bowed to the king before regrouping with the other two knights the king had addressed, where they headed to retrieve their steeds from the stables and cantered down to the docks.
Searching the port for a pirate would be no easy task, even if they did stand out in a crowd. The trio of knights decided to divide and conquer, splitting up to search for the pirate captain. Sebastian likely wouldn't have believed there actually was a pirate had he not seen the ship. Peasants came up with anything these days. Although born a peasant himself, Sebastian Reynolds knew that some of them sought attention and were just as greedy as the lords and nobles in this land. Leading his white steed through the crowded, dirty streets of the port, Sebastian scanned the crowd below him for the face of a pirate.

The young woman worked her way through the clear destruction of the area, her heart crying out to help every person she came close to. The children especially, it brought her back to her own youth when life was a struggle and the work even moreso. She had a momentary realisation, where the physical labour was, the suitable crew would be. It shouldn't be too hard to find, she thought to herself. With her focus found once more, she took larger strides to get through the sad scene around her and to where she hoped to find her future family, as that is what a good crew became if you spent long enough together. She had no doubt that her time here could be short, and with her black and gold attire, she stuck out like a sore thumb, so she needed to find her crew quickly, and as subtly as was possible.
It took some time for Sapphire to find where the labour was, but it couldn't have been more obvious to her when she came across it. It seemed as though they were building something, with all the timber around it was the only thought she had. She smiled softly as she watched from a slight distance, hoping to spy men from there.

Sir Sebastian Reynolds
What would lead a pirate to dock in the king's port? Sebastian mused to himself as he searched. He supposed if one was desperate enough, whether it be for supplies or manpower, they may dock in such a port. And where supplies and manpower were, it was likely the pirate would be found. However, the knight's thoughts drifted to ones of his adopted sister. Many told him that she must have been killed, but Sebastian couldn't believe it. He wouldn't. Maybe she'd gone off to a foreign land, or even become a pirate herself? That would be a sight to see, though he didn't imagine her having done that. Alisone served the king with pride, and fought for king and country with all her heart. She wouldn't simply give that up.
Leading his mount along, the knight clicked his tongue and kicked his steed lightly in the side to spur the white stallion forward. While children and merchants looked upon him in awe, giving him waves and kind smiles, most of the peasants and other lesser men looked upon his shining armor and his horse dolled up in the colors of the king with scorn. To them, he was a corrupt womanizer; nothing more. Many knights were, but Sebastian always remembered the place he'd come from. Finding a tavern near where the massive ship was docked, Sir Sebastian moved his horse briefly into the stables and stepped inside. The barman was sure to have some sort of lead.

It came as a surprise to many of those she approached that a Pirate Captain be a woman, though it did not deter them all. By the time noon was upon them, she had recruited five men and two women. It was a success in her eyes, it was only a partial crew but it was a crew of her own, one she could see being a strong and intimidating force. Giving her first orders as Captain, each crewman had to make sure the order of supplies was accurate and that every ounce of it was delivered to the ship. She was proud of the crew, though she did not really know them, nor did they know her. They trusted her enough to listen to her request and enough to willingly carry it out. These people truly must want a better life for themselves, over the greed of mankind.
Sapphire had one last supply to check on, one she wanted to do herself as it was her duty to care for the crew and the weather on the sea would be unpredictable and they would need to have the right sort of clothing and warm blankets to sleep under. The ship had some stored already, but if she were to expand her crew, she would certainly need more. She strolled through the upper class on the town, caring not for the strange looks, towards the dress shop she had seen, the material she would want had to be in there.

Sir Sebastian Reynolds
Thanking the man inside, Sir Sebastian returned his helm to his head and stepped outside, only to discover a thief attempting to steal his horse. "Hey!" He shouted, the helmet making his ears ring. The thief looked up in shock and spurred the horse into motion, plowing through the crowd of civilians. This slowed him down and allowed Sebastian to catch up, yanking him off the steed and hitting the thief twice with his armored fist. "Be thankful I do not have the time to arrest you myself." The knight growled, dropping the man to the ground and allowing him to flee.
Mounting his horse once again, Sebastian headed down to where the laboring crowd would be, but was halted by one of the other knights he was with. They informed him that the pirate had been spotted heading up through the market district, and he would pursue him. "Wait by the pirate's ship. He cannot be allowed to escape." With a nod, Sebastian galloped back out towards the docks, finding the ship with ease. There he planted his steed in place, waiting for the captain's return. He kept an ear out for the ship's crew however, if there was one.

Upon entering the dress shop, she was met with even stranger glances, her attire didn't give off an air of elegance to these people, that was clear. The woman browsed the shelves of cloth, not seeing exactly what she wanted, half an order would have to do. She dropped a pouch of gold on the table in front of the seamstress. "I'll take what woollen material you have. I'd like them delivered to the docks in a short while, if it is not too much to ask." The seamstress suddenly had a smile on her face upon seeing the gold, nodding to what the Pirate was telling her. "Of course, Madam. I will make your order my first priority."
Sapphire tipped her hat politely and smirked as she turned her back to leave the shop. With a cheerful spring in her step, she made her way along the market street, eyeing each store she passed, in case it nudged her memory into something else that might be needed. Though, it seemed as though she had thought of everything for now. They would have plenty of food and drink for a long voyage, as long as they did not starve, they could pick up other things along the way. The most important thing was now that they waited for everything to be dropped off at the docks and then they could simply leave. Her direction now was clearly for the docks, she had to check things were running smoothly.

Sir Sebastian Reynolds
Things were certainly not running smoothly. In the time the captain had been away from her ship, Sir Sebastian moved into place by where the ship had docked, blocking the path of any who made an attempt to board. This caused grief for the pirate's new found crew, both the ones on and off the ship. A brief scuffle broke out between the knight and two of the former laborers, though the threat was quickly dispatched. What Sebastian did not anticipate was a third, using this distraction to catch him off his guard. The knight became unbalanced and fell into the bay. Sebastian was capable of swimming, but with the addition of the heavy steel armor he wore, his weight was doubled it it was impossible for him to stay afloat. His horse gave a frightened whinny as people began to shout, though the sounds of the surface became lost to him as his head dipped below the water. Sebastian fought to keep his head up, but his vision began to darken and he quickly lost consciousness from the lack of oxygen. What a preposterous way to die. Drowning in a bay because your armor is strapped on and takes a full ten minutes to take on and off.
