"Wonderful news?" He echoed, already guessing what it was. He couldn't hold back his excitement, though he wanted to hear it from her first. He entirely forgot about the patrol news. He licked her forehead, laughing afterwards. "What is it? You look like your going to jump out of your fur.."

Snowfeather slipped out of the den, not wanting to intrude on the two cats' happiness. "Did you hear that?" she asked Cloudwhisper.

"We-wah..." He couldn't even get a word out without stumbling on it. Kits?! "That's the best news I've ever heard!" He purred aloud, licking her forehead with a huge smile. "Wait.. Now?" His ears flattened as he remembered her lying on the floor when he walked in.

Foxpaw smiled deviously as she stalked over to were Rosepaw was grooming her short black fur. Then she pounced knocking her over. 'get off!" she hissed in annoyance. "stupid fur ball!" Rosepaw fumed as she eyed Foxpaw's red tipped tail. Then snap!

"ouch!" Foxpaw said jumping off and looking at her tail. In rosepaw's teeth was a tuft of red cat fur. "why'd you do that?!"

"look at what you've done" Rosepaw mumbled to herself as she tried to flatten out her now messy fur.
