Aquafeather's ears pricked a little when Fallenstar started to talk about the two apprentices who went on the journey. The silver queen smiled. It's been so long since she last saw a warrior's naming ceremony. Hearing a quiet cry come in from the medicine cat's den and then stop, Aquafeather peeked her head in and looked at Sunsetkit. She relaxed her fur when she saw that her kit had changed positions and quickly got used to it. She purred softly before returning to her seat outside of the den to watch and listen.

Laying fast asleep in the nest, Sunsetkit took long deep breaths as she felt more at ease. The pain had lessened in her paws and chest greatly, but it was still there. Rolling over from her side to her stomach, Sunsetkit cried softly in pain before she stopped as she became comfortable on her tummy. Because of her movement, Sunsetkit awoke herself up, flickering her blind eyes open before quietly listening around her.

Ashblaze looked at Fallenstar as she started speaking again before he grinned,'Not only does the Clan need new warriors, but Cometpaw deserves to be a warrior.' He thought.

Cometpaw listened quietly before he puffed out his chest a bit in pride as their leader talked about him and Coconutpaw. When he heard that he was going to get his warrior name, his eyes grew wide as his ears perked. Excitement began to grow inside of him. Cometpaw looked towards Foxfang as though to make sure it wasn't just a dream. Grinning happily, Cometpaw stood up and made his way to the front, soon standing tall with pride and excitement before Fallenstar.

The ginger she-kit hissed playfully as she tried to keep her own against her littermates, but soon felt overpowered by Spiderkit and Sootkit. She went down onto her back and pawed at both her littermates as she squeaked happily.

Brambleheart's legs churned softly, as if she were running. The white Bengal she-cat whimpered quietly in her sleep, and her ear twitched.
Brambleheart spun around, hissing. "Get away from me!" The shadow clawed at her, and she curled instinctively around her swollen belly. The shadow slunk away, leaving Brambleheart exhausted and panting. Just as she started to calm down, something jumped on her back, clawing her fur.
Brambleheart jerked awake, eyes wide with fear. Slowly she took deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. The she-cat curled around her belly, whimpering softly. I'll never let anything happen to you, my dear kits! Brambleheart still felt the pain of the sickness, but it was slightly less than before, and the adrenaline and fear from her dream had pushed it to the back of her mind.

Fangpaw had been listening silently, not really interested. He looked up when Cometpaw went to Fallenstar, flicking his tail angrily. I could have gone. I would have made sure Frostclaw didn't die. He thought to himself.

Cherryflame purred, waving her tail to congratulate the apprentice. Glancing over at Coconutpaw, she saw nothing but happiness in the apprentice's eyes. Her thoughts wandered back to Frostclaw though. Where is she buried? She asked herself. Looking around camp again, she didn't find Speckleblaze. I suppose he'll be there. She answered. Looking at Sheep and Briar, she decided to send them out exploring by themselves after the meeting, so they could get a real feel of their new home.

He frowned at his mate, beginning to groom her gently. Brambleheart never got scared... He didn't want to try ask her what it was about, she might just want to calm down. "Cometpaw is becoming a warrior." He murmured.

She had kept her eyes focused purely on Fallenstar, not caring about Sheep or Briar. She was musing over how Sheep had so rudely asked for the other journey cats to be credited, when she flinched at the mention of Gingerpelt, grief consuming her. Cometpaw left her side suddenly and she looked up, quickly sorting out the situation. If it had been any other apprentice, she would have been filled with jealousy. But now, she smiled excitedly, Sheep and Gingerpelt gone from her mind.

the she cat grieved for gingerpelt before smiling as the new kits were mentioned. then when cometpaw was called to the front, she murmured in ashblaze's ear. "it's about time he became a warrior. i can't wait to have heroes in the warriors' den!" she then turned to look back at the apprentice as fallenstar prepared to give him his ceremony.

Letting out a raspy purr, she began the age old ceremony of making an Apprentice a Warrior. "I, Fallenstar, leader of Stormclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." She took a deep breath before continuing. "Cometpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

The Tom couldn't help but grin even more as Cometpaw looked over at him. "He deserves this... Cometpaw's is a hard trainer and smart at that..." The ginger Tom murmured to Ryemouse, licking her ear afterwards. "Maybe you'll get an apprentice at some point too, oh you would just love it Mousey!"

Forcing a small smile she turned towards Fallenstar and watched quietly. Shaking her head, Tawnyshadow tried believing her words, but guilt was easing its way in slowly but surely. Stop this! Cometpaw is being made a Warrior, be happy for the young Tom!

Brambleheart's breathing finally slowed, and she leaned against her mate, exhaling deeply. She nodded, acknowledging Greenheart's words. The pain from the sickness slowly sunk its way back into Brambleheart's body, and she lay back down, falling slowly asleep.
