what are your favorite tøp lyrics? why?

This is one of the hardest questions I will ever face in my life, along with "what's your favorite song or album?" As of right now (knowing it will change tomorrow) is probably the lyrics to Johnny Boy. No I can't just pick a simple sentence out of that song. (Although the verses are beautiful, it's hard to pick one). It talks about average people who work hard and really try in life but not getting no praise for it, the character then struggles with the bad thoughts but no one seems to care because he's just average and finally it gets to him to the point he has to skip work. Tyler then tries to reassure him that there is always someone out there appreciating you and your work ethic no matter how tough life gets. I guess that's just a brief part of it. Let's be honest, I could make an essay off one word. Ugh sorry for this long thing you have to read. But I also like the Run and Go chorus, it kind of struck me the first time listening to it cause I could almost vision myself in that situation saying those words and it stuck with me.

what are your favorite tøp lyrics? why?

i really like the transitions between "leave me alone"/"don't leave me alone" in kitchen sink because I feel like it's something we can all relate to no matter what is going on in our lives - we always say we're fine or that nothing is wrong and that we just want to be left alone but really it's the opposite.
I also really like "fight it, take the pain, ignite it" from holding onto you and I've been thinking about getting a tattoo of it possibly. my favorite lyric in terms of poetry is how "mr. misty eyed" flows off the tongue in heavydirtysoul; I just think it's a beautifully written little line, but I do like the accompanied "gangsters don't cry" part too ^^ as well as basically all of trees lmao

also unrelated but I'm being Tyler for a convention over here next week and I'm so beyond excited! my kimono is almost done and all I need now are my glasses! ^^ I'll see if I can find a way to link my cosplay without violating cs rules ahhh
