He snorted at the mention of Keiran. God, she was the queen of Hell, but she served a petty witch--well, the demon owed a debt, but it was practically the same thing. "I don't know any of Amara's methods, but all I know is that reapers ain't collecting, due to the Darkness, and that means Hell doesn't get their souls." Demons could still collect by their contracts... But the fact that Amara's eating random human souls is huge for the demon business. He didn't particularly care, but it still, somewhat, unnerved him.

He stared at the passing humans, cringing at the sight. How could they stand this life? This short, pathetic, hungry life? He hardly lasted a day, but he had his methods. Though, his view was disrupted. Instantly, the power radiating off her was weak, yet strong, and he recognized her as a demon. Definitely. And, she was oddly familiar. He gave her a toothy grin, which wasn't welcoming. "Nex," he said, "what a pleasant surprise."

"Of course she is." She sighs and runs her fingers through her hair, finally taking a drink of her drink and and closing her eyes. "hundreds of demons and and a rogue and yet this piece if information slips past us." She shakes her head, "God needs to get up and do something before things get more out of control than they already are."

Nex
She grins, her eyes flashing white, "I'd say I'm honored you recognize me but I really am not. Though I am amused, seeing where the great Hell king found himself after being overthrown by a simple crossroads demon." She crosses her arms over her chest, her smile widening.

He shook his head, swirling his glass of whiskey around. "I highly doubt God wants anything to do with this," he said. "If he did, he would have already done something. And those Winchesters are doing an amazing job on bringing her sorry a** down." He rolled his eyes at his words, leaning into the booth. "This world is gonna die, and no one's gonna prevent that from happening."

He offered her an exaggerated shrug, his grin never wavering. "Guilty," Lucifer said. "Though, I am dying to know how she did so. Lemme guess, you drugged me because you were too afraid to actually confront me, then stole my Grace. I highly applaud you." He mockingly began to clap, crossing his legs as he eyed the demon.

She lifts her gaze, "that's a terrible way to view life, Dan. Look at it this way. If Amara does destroy these worlds, her and her brother will live on. God will probably throw together another planet or something. It won't be the end of it all. Just our pathetic specieses." She snickers and her own words and takes another drink. "Forget I said that."

Nex
She can't help but laugh, shaking her head, "Oh, Lucifer. The truth is so much worse. I had absolutely nothing to do with her overthrowing you. Sure, I'm basking in my freedom to do whatever I wish now that you're gone. But, Lucifer. I had nothing to do with the theft of your grace. I might've stepped forward sooner or later to dethrone you but no. You were defeated by a simple crossroads demon with nothing more than the help of a single witch with a massive ego. I'd almost say that's worse than you being defeated by those brothers though I wasn't around for that ordeal."

He chuckled softly, chugging down his last shot. "All forgotten," he said to the witch. "And who knows what God'll do. I don't think he gives a damn about us, and he's glad to see us meet our graves. Though, I don't know what that son of a bitch thinks." He shrugged, staring at the witch. He wondered what would happen to the demons and angels after the Darkness brings the world down. Would chaos erupt, or would their be certain balance?

He snorted, shaking his head with amusement. This was just too good! "You know nothing of defeat," he said, "defeat is putting me in my grave, or making me feel like a damned puppy. But, I am bound to get my Grace sooner or later, and I feel very content. It's actually very interesting to see how humans can comprehend this life." Brushing his chin lightly, Lucifer added, "honey, that crossroad's demon is nothing, just like you are just a speck of dust. Once I have my Grace up and running, those demons will come swarming back to their real daddy."

"There was that rumor about him getting a message to those wonderful brothers. Maybe I could get my angel to kidnap her and get more information about the situation out of her. Or if the big guy plays favorites with everyone's favorite brothers I could always send my followers reigning down on them and see if he comes out to play then." she says it absently, not really realizing she's saying it out loud.

Nex
"You seem to forget where you stand right now, Lucifer." She waves her hand and transports them to the diner she had slaughtered all the people in before, "you're human. As human as these poor pathetic people. Think about that for a second Lucifer. As far as anyone is concerned, only one being in existence knows where your grace is and she's not going to hand that information up to anyone." She settles into a table as she talks, a tired look crossing her expression, "I made a promise to Hell that I'd wipe out all of your followers so we wouldn't have to deal with you returning to power. Which is a pain. But it will happen. Unless I deal with you right now. Then I can cut away that boring task. Snap your neck and be done with it. So tell me, Lucifer. Why shouldn't I just kill you and be done with it?" Her gaze lifts to Lucifer.

He leaned forward, quirking a brow. "A message?" He inquired, snorting. "God actually spoke? That is a relief, yet very unimaginable. I thought that old sucker abandoned the world a long time ago." He was very interested in this, and he definitely wanted to hear about it. Though, as the angel basically said, she didn't know squat about it. "It'd be interesting to make the Winchesters bait, ye know."

"This," he pointed to the demon, "trick doesn't work anymore. The teleporting, the taunting... Such child play." He leaned into the booth, resting both arms behind his head. Hearing her threat, he only felt amused. "Go ahead," he dared, "snap my neck, torture me. What of it? Everyone has their weaknesses, everyone can die." Sliding out an angel's blade from his sleeve, he held it up to his own neck, grinning. "Humans are just more vulnerable; more ways for them to die. Though, this blade here..." He traced it along his Adam's apple, then continued, "Can kill anything with a single cut." Giving another exaggerated shrug, the Devil eyed the demon. He didn't give a damn about his demons, and he certainly didn't give a crap if he died.

She blinks, looking at him and realizing she'd spoken allowed. She decides it's not a terrible thing to have another view on the subject though she would prefer to discuss it with her demon..."The only problem with going near those brothers is it seems every single creature that encounters them seems to end up dead or worse. I happen to value my life. Again, I do have my followers, but like you they're not bound under anything that forces them. I'd have to ask them to go after Winchesters. I'm sure you could imagine how that would go. Not to say I'm sure I've got a few morons stupid enough to do it. But I don't get my hands dirty."

She eyes the blade in consideration, "You are not who I thought you were, Lucifer. Lucky you, I have no plans to kill you. In fact. I want to make a deal because I want to return to my games. I am a child at heart, after all." She snaps her fingers an a demon appears in the seat across from her, mouth duct taped shut and hands bound with devil's trap handcuffs. He looks frantically between the two of them, pure raw terror crossing his expression. "I wasn't completely innocent in your dethroning, in fact I watched every single moment of it, in honest joy. I was content. Until I found out about Keiran's deal with that nightmare of a witch. I'm not going to be able to sit comfortably with your followers running around hidden by her spellwork. Especially if I take that wonderful blade of yours and stab you in your throat. Our friend here, call him Bill because I don't know his name, I had him spy on Keiran when she hid your grace then kidnapped him and let my hounds play with him after he told me the location for betraying his queen. There are three beings in existence that know where she put it, two of them are present and one of them," She draws an angel blade from inside her jacket and sends it flying into 'Bill's' chest, killing him instantly. "is now dead. I don't want you in that throne, not by a long shot. But I also am not going to work alongside Keiran when she's indebted to a damned witch. I'll get you your grace, if you allow me and my followers to continue playing our games. I don't care what you do with Hell. I really don't. I just don't want to be watching over my shoulder every ten seconds. Keiran's followers are only loyal to her because she's the ruler. Plus, for the sake of everything, Archangels are kind of a necessary evil. Even fallen ones with death wishes."

He completely understood. He himself wouldn't go near those two brothers, unless they were chained and utterly useless. Though, that wouldn't happen unless someone was strong and brave enough to do so. Those Winchesters were nasty things, and he wasn't willing putting his neck on the line for bait. "I know a few who are in deed idiotic enough to try to pull something off like that. Maybe I can contact a few," he suggested, shrugging. "But the problem, which you stated, is bound to happen... Unless a few buzzards are able to pull that off."

He took in her words, considering them. He could object, he could agree. What harm would it to let a demon live and get his Grace back? Though, there had to be more to this, wasn't there? "And, what are your little games, exactly?" He asked, tracing a finger along the angel blade's surface. Looking up through his lashes, the Devil grinned. "Something very dirty, I assume."

She shakes her head, a dark smile crossing her face, "Lucifer, I am a simple being. As every white eyed demon to ever walk the planet I stick with my purpose. I like collecting power, which comes in the form of demon followers. After I was created it was probably to rule Hell in your absence. The problem is I don't like responsibility. I want to get back to collecting followers as well as possessing and corrupting children while you deal with the responsibilities of ruling. I'd also like to return to my daily activities of tormenting and torturing humans because it's what I do. I've been stuck dealing with cleaning out disloyal scum with Keiran in the throne. This is a simple deal, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by agreeing to it. I have everything to lose by agreeing to this, "She pointedly looks at his blade, "I'm trusting that last being on the planet I should so I can return to my power trip and torturing humans to let you deal with Hell and Amara. It's fair."

"Know what? The world is ending. Time to do something stupid. Let's see how many idiots I have following me. Be warned, this is probably going to be a little strange" She clears her throat and presses her fingers against the marking on her wrist, when she speaks it goes out across all the beings she has bound to her, making it so Dan hears her in his head as well as in person, "We're doing something stupid, everyone. Kidnapping a Winchester, I know. I'm an idiot, blah blah blah, but if you're interested in helping out, I'll reward you greatly. Louisiana warehouse if interested." She removes her fingers and shuts her eyes, concentration etched into her expression.
