Sparrowstrike found Clover's den, the entrance blocked off with snow. She knocked down a small bit of snow and looked inside the den. ''Clover, mom wants to talk to you.'' She said.

Clover woke up and looked around groggily. It took a bit for her to process what Sparrowstrike had said. "What? Why?" She was too tired to feel angry, so she just sounded confused.

"Cloverpaw!" Cloudgaze exclaimed as she nudged her way past Sparrowstrike so that she could 'look' at her younger daughter. She sounded thrilled to hear her voice. "Cloverpaw, what are you doing out here? Sparrowstrike said you're a loner now...Is that true?"

Clover huffed. Of course Sparrowstrike had to take them. "Yes." She growled. "You finally decided to care about me?" She crouched, lashing her tail with her fur bristling.

Speckleflame sighed and went to the medicine den to grab marigolds, cobwebs, and mouse bile. She went back to Mistyclaw and picked the marigold onto her ear, since it was infected, and coated it with cobwebs. "I'll get an apprentice to-"

Mistyclaw was perfectly content, getting care, but then something just clicked inside her, and it was painful. She collapsed to the ground.

[Weredog]

"Of course I care about you. You're my daughter and I will always care about you. And I know Thrushleap feels the same way." Cloudgaze insisted with a small frown. She already knew she was a poor mother based on Dandelionface's attitude towards her and the fact that she didn't spend nearly enough time with her kits. That knowledge only made Clover's words hurt more since she knew this was her fault. Something she could have prevented if she had only payed more attention.

Speckleflame's eyes widened and she hurried to her herb store. Maybe she ate something bad? She got yarrow. Maybe she can't breathe? She got juniper berries. Speckleflame hurried back over to Mistyclaw and squeezed the juice of the juniper berries down her throat.

Mistyclaw's eyes snapped open. It's not like she could see, but it's good to know she isn't dead. She slowly sat up, but was pushed back down by Speckleflame. Speckleflame was telling her how she is going to stay here. "But it's cold!"

"Oh," he said, ashamed that he was so happy that Bumblestep didn't want Stormriver as a mate. "Is there anyone here you would want as a mate...?"

Iceheart
He failed to spot Specklflame in Otterfoot's den and immediately picked Palepaw back up, catching the medicine cat's scent leading away from the den. Iceheart saw her treating an old she-cat and gently placed his son beside the old cat. "Speckleflame, he's sick. Please, help him," he begged uncharacteristically. Normally he never allowed himself to show any weakness.

He nodded and followed silently for a moment. "What did you forget? I mean, you don't have to tell me. I'm just curious, that's all," he rushed, wondering what the warrior had forgotten.

Sweetheart
She didn't know of any cats who had been exiled recently. He must've been exiled when she was a few moons old or not even born! "Uh... why were you exiled?" she asked hesitantly.

"How is he sick?" Speckleflame asked, her attention still in Mistyclaw. She was currently trying to find a place for her to sleep. There was only room for two in her own den... maybe she should dig a hollow below her den...?

"Liar!" Clover hissed. "You never cared about me. You only care about Speckleflame. She's the one who StarClan chose. She's the one who became medicine cat because of it. She's the one who has a perfect life and a perfect family all because of stupid StarClan. I'm nothing to you."

"Daddy, help me," Palepaw whispered, unable to raise his voice any higher.
