Korsia Sealorn
Age: 17 | Gender: Female | Species: Human | Rank: Second in Command Hunter | Tagged: Kai
The usual musty tang of dust and books greeted the human girl as she scuffled into the grand library muttering and cursing under her breath. Thank whatever gods were left that Korsia was not a nobility for the words she uttered were of no such quality fit for a lady. "Why in hell's realm didn't anybody tell me this god da** book was due last month?!" Korsia hissed, scolding herself as she dashed through the open oak doors that led into the heart of the library. The cranky scholars in charge of the scrolls and books were already on her trail due to her lack of memory to return the basic scrolls of weaponry and now she was late returning one of the most precious books in the library based on the history of warriors. She was so, so dead.
Being so caught up in her own scolding, Shikira didn't even have time to register what was before her, even her whole life of training couldn't prepare her for what happened next.
With a cry of surprise and a whir of burnt orange hair against dark black, Korsia found herself crashing into a sturdy figure, one that belonged to the next in line for the throne; Kai.
Kenai
Age: 1024 | Gender: Male | Species: Erlking | Rank: Beta | Tagged: Chiyoko
A dark shadow watched the Alpha of the monsters, noting her every movement and breath. An innocent and perhaps beautiful face hiding a dark wrath of viciousness and cunningness, that was what defined Chiyoko; his alpha. Stepping out of the darkness, Kenai let the shadows roll of his body like a cloak though he still stayed fairly close to the dark patches woven into the forest. "I didn't know you liked watching the humans work... or perhaps you're just waiting for something interesting to happen, hmm?" The glint in his leader's eyes was all it took for him to confirm she was here mostly for the latter.
"You really shouldn't be here, not when there's no actual point in doing so." He breathed, his voice dull and gloriously filled with boredom.
Shikira Hawk Ahryver
Age: 274 | Gender: Female | Species: Human, Elf, Fairy | Rank: Loner | Tagged: Kieran
Being a loner sure had it's perks but earning money wasn't one of them. Grunting at the weight of the wagon she towed behind her, Shikira heaved the bulking mess of fabric and thread into a corner of the bustling street. The old woman she had helped gave her a few copper coins, barely enough to feed her. Sighing through her nose, the girl merely inclined her head and stalked away, not bothering with any words. Why should she be hauling as* for a race that had abandoned her? Oh right, it was because despite everything, Shikira just couldn't stand the feeling of being looked down upon just because of her appearance, which is exactly what the elves did... speaking of the devil.... "What the heck is he doing here?" Her eyes narrowed as she spotted the pointed tips of his ears, barely concealed beneath his flowing hair. God, if that didn't give it away, then his absolute flawlessness was.
Shikira clenched her fists, suffocating the wildfire that threatened to spring out. For all the simmering rage inside her, Shikira didn't know why she did it, but she silently and smoothly slipped into the crowd, right behind the pure blooded elf. Perhaps it was the rage of her past singing in her ears, or maybe it was just because she had a rough day and didn't care if it got rougher, and so with a deadly gleam in her eyes, Shikira purred; "Aren't you looking a bit out of place?"
(Eeep, so sorry for such a long post! Aaaah, I'll shorten my future ones if you'd like)
