History: As a warrior, Bristlefur loooooved hunting and fighting, so much that she never bothered to have a mate or kits. She went on as long as she could, but at the age of 100 Moons she was forced to retire because she was suffering from failing vision and pains, and now she's always grumpy.

Bristlefur snarled. "It's too dark in here," she barked to nobody in particular. "And it's too wet. Why can't we just live outside like normal cats?" She looked around and growled. "And why, in the name of StarClan, have the apprentices not brought me my moss!? Even when they do bring it, it's usually just as wet as this stinking cave, or it's full of thorns!"

Frostgaze glanced at the other cats from the shadows of the camp. They all seem so happy, she thought glumly. And I'm just too shy. She smiled faintly as she saw her brother come over to her.
