MistClan vs MossClan (Accepting!) (New) (High Ranks Open)

Deep in a lush misty forest surrounding the mountains lives two clans, MistClan and MossClan. Long ago four Clans suffered immense hardship. The forest they had lived in had been close to the two legs, they had always encountered young two legs coming and going in their forest but they always managed to avoid them. To escape their sight to escape their dogs to be hidden.. for the most part. Until one day they came with large violent monsters. Unlike the ones the cats were use to seeing these monsters were taller, stronger.. They ripped the forest apart and began to build where their homes once stood. The clans were pushed further and further back, their prey began to die and run off and soon there was not enough left for them.. And so the terrified starving Clans left the only home they'd ever known and traveled.

It took many moons for them to find the mountains and the forest scarce of twolegs. Many cats young and old died and once they had arrived they were small in numbers. The four clans became two, MistClan named for the mist surrounding their new home, and MossClan named for the greenery and color of their new home. Because of their shared history of struggling the two Clans lived in peace and harmony for a very long time. Until one day.. MistClan began to find prey killed and left in their territory. When meeting with MossClan, MossClan's leader, Emberstar, was outraged, he took their simple question as an accusation. He was furious, he blamed MistClan for the scarce amount of herbs suddenly in their territory. He claimed they were stealing, trying to put his Clan in jeopardy so that they'd have to beg MistClan for help. Ivystar, the MistClan leader attempted to calm the furious tom but he wouldn't have any of it. He broke apart the meeting early and left with his Clan.

Tensions rose within the coming months. With MossClan trespassing on MistClan territory, attempting to prove they weren't the ones leaving prey while also trying to stop any MistClan cats from coming into theirs. MistClan was ordered to chase MossClan cats out but not to hurt them. Ivystar thought they could eventually calm MossClan and restore the peace. That everything would blow over and they'd resume their lives. Weeks went by and slowly the cats began to calm down until one cold rainy morning. The beloved Medicine cat of MossClan, Willowbreeze the sister of Emberstar, was found dead in MistClan territory. Ivystar was horrified, she claimed she had no idea who had hurt the medicine cat, that she would never have condone that kind of violence. Heartbroken and completely enraged Emberstar declared a war he refused to end. And so the two clans were plunged into darkness. The war claimed the remaining lives of Emberstar and Ivystar along with many warriors.

Now their deputies, Brighteyes and Lochclaw have taken their places as leaders. But with clans full of distrust, hostility, grief, and deep anger.. Will Brightstar and Lochstar lead their Clans to peace? Or will they continue the war of their former leaders? Neither side is willing to back down, neither wants to be the weak one to give up and let the other win. Neither side wants to take responsibility for whats befallen. But who really killed Willowbreeze? An angry fed up MistClan warrior? Who was leaving prey around MistClan? A misguided MossClan cat? Or someone else? Could peace ever be achieved again or was this always destined to happen? Two Clans at odds and an uncertain future hidden in the mist surrounding them.
