She sighed heavily. "Can there be two medicine cat apprentices? Could Needlepaw become one? She wants to but I dont know if shes ready." She said quickly, her words tumbling out. "I mean shes nice and all but I feel she would be better as a warrior but I did get kinda mad at her. . . Should I say sorry? She probably hates me! I was just worried about Frostfang because if she gave her borage before she needed the milk she would get sick! I was just worried! I didn't mean to be so mean!" She looked sadly into her mentors eyes. "Did I do anything wrong?"

Silverblaze stared in disbelief at bravepaw. Was she insulting her kit? she thought.No that was rude medicine cats don't do that, Only Pinenose. he was mossclan's medicine cat and her mate. "Thanks for letting needlepaw try to become a medicine cat apprentice-" She covered needlepaw's ears "but please be nice to her she will help defend the clan by fighting And healing."
she uncovered of needlepaw's ear. she padded to see frostfang with her kits. it had been a quarter moon since needlepaw had helped frostfang have her kits. they where old enought to walk. "Hi silverblaze!" Rosekit mewed "Mother is very very ill we think she has got green cough" silverblaze's heart sank. Green cough it was able to kill warriors, leaders, Elders, and kits she grabbed Rosekit she yelled over for robinwing to take her kits with her needlepaw raced after and picked up Larkkit then relised he smelled like green cough. who else would catch this?



Shall green cough come to the full clan?

She suddenly shot up. "Well your kit could have made your sister very ill! But of course now she has greencough so it doesn't matter! Your daughter tried to help someone kit when they had no clue what they were doing. Not one clue. Borage before the queen needs milk? No!" Anger flared inside her and she continued, spitting out each word as if it were crowfood in her mouth. "And whats more is that now she'll probably try and treat the greencough! She may want to be a medicine cat and her father may have been a medicine cat but that doesn't mean she knows everything!?" She snarled. She knew she had made a mistake, letting her temper get lose but she couldn't be subtly told off by Needlepaw's mother. "And I may be a medicine cat, but I will tell you this," She growled; low and cold. "Eat dung, foxface!" She spun around and marched out of camp, walking quickly through the curving path of trees until, after awhile, reached the thunder path. She huffed and waited.

Silverblaze grimaced. bravepaw acted like a shadowclan apprentice to her. Silverblaze was going to be soon an elder warrior and a cat Much younger then her was talking back to her. she Padded slowly into the medicine den grabbing as much catmint as she needed. she didn't want Needlepaw regected as she did she padded over to needlepaw whom was looking into a lake near the camp. she was crying. "Silverblaze, Why did you take me here? i want to be a medicine cat like Pinenose i miss him all the apprentices hate me. I hate me." She wimpered. "Why was I the only kit whom had to go? Lakekit, Shorekit, And sorrielkit stay at mossclan. i wanna go back the other apprentices liked me" Silverblaze took her because she was the youngest she was small, Lakepaw, Shorepaw And sorrielpaw where apprentices before her and she was pretty sure they where warriors. She gave the catnip to her. "Here Needlepaw be a good apprentice and go help the sick cats" She didn't care if she was breaking the warrior code she wanted needlepaw to become a medicine cat

"I shouldn't have gotten so mad!" She muttered to herself. "Well, she was being snobby, acting like the world revolved around Needlepaw. I shouldn't have left though, she'll most likely feed the sick cats marigold and use juniper berries on the wounds. Though I wonder if she'll find where we keep the Nightshade......."

Woken up from his nap by a tumble from the fence, Calem sighed and squeezed through the fence and padded over the grass. A forest lay ahead of him and he happily set off through the ferns. He skidded down hills and dashed over brambles until he stopped by the lake side. He saw two cats on the other side, one was crying while the other had green leaves in her jaws. "Hello there!" He called to the cats then quickly dashed back into the brush, giggling. Silly cats! He thought happily.

Needlepaw looked up at silverblaze hopefully. "Whats catmint used for?" She asked, Joking "Yes it is for green cough I picked it from the twoleg gardens." Silverblaze nodded for her to walk to the nursery. "Silverblaze? is that you?" frostfang rasped. "Do not warry this is sick times for all the cats, please eat this needlepaw got this" Nodding for needlepaw to give her the catmint. she ate it. Larkkit was at shortness of breath. This called for some more catnip and juniper berries. "Needlepaw do you know what to get and be fast about this" she nodded towards the stocks of herbs. Needlepaw brought Blue berries back to them and brought some poppy seeds for frostfang. "Poppy seeds to help frostfang rest juniper berries for shortness of breath, for larkkit and also some coltsfoot" she chewed it to a pulp. "Eat this larkkit-" He lapped it up then eat the berries and his breath started to come back
"-and eat this young one" she mewed pushing Catnip towards him. once again eating it. Silverblaze noticed the two medicine cats approaching she went and grabbed needlepaw and got some fresh-kill to the two sick cats. padding away with needlepaw to hunt
