Needlepaw looked down staring at her leader. she didn't want to become a warrior. she wanted to serve her clan in a different way. she trudged over to bravepaw who was sorting herbs "cat i please be an apprentice, a medicine apprentice like you?"she jumped at the feeling of bravepaw saying "yes" but almost sheded a tear thinking of the response "no" she looked at patchstar if she wasn't going to get an awnser maybe her leader can awnser her

"I hope you know that being a Medicine cat is more then just knowing herbs and Starclan things. Its a lot of work! But if you work hard then its easy to learn quickly." She added as she saw Needlepaw's face drop.

Needlepaw looked sad. she wanted permissition like nettlepool had said. no matter the only thin she wantedd to say was "I knew that my father was the one of the medicine cats in mossclan he told me everything i needed to know about being a medicine cat."
but she bit is back and walked in patchstar's den readier then every "nice newleaf patchstar, but i must ask you something urgent i do not want to be a warrior. i feel as if being a medicine cat is the way i'd like it. it challenges me and shows me that i can care!" she pleaded"

silverblaze watched her only kit sitting briskly pleading to become medicine cat. she worried for Needlepaw. i'm going to moonpool she decided she walked the distance *witch took about 40 mins for twoleg time* to the moonpool and lied nearest to the shore bank. "Oh starclan will my kit get her dream? will she become apprentice of a medicine cat or will she become a warrior by force?" she said to any starclan cat she thought might be there.

frostfang closed her eyes She needed herbs she glanced over to see needlepaw sadly picking up borage leaves. "Needlepaw! are you a medicine cat! i need help! my kits they are coming! I need anyone to help!" she called. needlepaw Looked up, she looked happy. "well no but i know how to be one!!!" she ran over with her borage leaves.

Nettlepool bit back a remark to Needlepaw as she went to Patchstar. Nettlepool hoped Patchstar would know how to tell Needlepaw that Bravepaw was the medicine apprentice and it wasn't actually the leaders decision without hurting the apprentice too much.

"Whos yelling?" She quickly bolted from the medicine den and skidded to a halt in front of the nursery.
"Needlepaw?!?!??!What are you doing!?!?" She cried as she saw the apprentice nosing herbs to the queen.

Nettlepool paused, rushing to the nursery at the sound of his apprentice, Needlepaw and Frostfang. 'Frostfang, your kits? No, no Needlepaw. We shouldn't need borage yet, that's for milk after the kits are born. Needlepaw, please help Frostfang to her nest, Bravepaw, can you fetch me a stick?'
