Dragon Species:
Firecrown
The Firecrown dragon has a glowing orange body and ruby-like claws. It has the hottest fire out of all other species. On top of its head, it has a ridge that has the appearance of being on fire. This gives it its name. Its teeth and claws aren't very sharp, and it is rather agile. It has large wings that are great for fanning flames. It can breathe flames at least 100 ft. The eggs are a glowing orange with fire patterns sweeping across them.
Vipersnout
The Vipersnout dragon has a light green colored body and super sharp fangs and teeth. Its teeth have venom pockets that hold venom of the deadliest degree. One bite could kill a full grown man in 60 seconds. It has a smooth body, and is unable to breathe fire, giving it a disadvantage in long-range combat. It can spit venom to 10 ft away, but young dragons can only spit 2 ft. It is a very agile dragon. The eggs are smooth and very fragile. They are a pale green color.
Emberdart
The Emberdart has a black body that glows orange between the scales whenever it has high emotions, or if it is about to breathe fire. It has a flame that can go to 20 ft, and it cools right when it hits its target. Its body is covered in short spikes that sting and can penetrate scales. It does not have these on its back. If it shoots these little darts, they are able to make a tough dragon super vulnerable. The eggs are textured and are black with glowing orange designs. They crumble when the newborn hatches, and do best while on dying coals.
Glowhorn
A rather docile and tame dragon, the Glowhorn likes to help people. Most common in dark places, it uses its horns to light up at least 50 ft in front and behind. They are fast, and have no fire. They do have tail spikes that don't mortally wound anything, but they are used to scare away predators. They are sharp enough to hurt. The dragon has 4 large horns on its head, and all of them light up whenever the dragon wills it. They come in a range of colors. The eggs have a luminescent glow, and are rather small.
Jadewing
The Jadewing has a deep emerald green colored body. Its wings, however, look like polished jade. They are heavy and the dragon isn't a great flier, but it has sharp teeth and claws that help it tear through dragon scales. It has the toughest scales out of any dragon, but they are vulnerable to the Emberdart's spikes. The eggs are hard-shelled, and are incredibly hard to break. Commonly mistaken for treasure, because they look like giant jade eggs.
Rubyfang
The Rubyfang has a deep crimson body, and it appears see-through. You are unable to see its innards, as they are also see-through. It gives everything a red tinge. Its teeth are actual rubies, and it avoids biting others. Told apart from the Firecrown for its lack of flames on the crest, and its darker color. Its fire reaches about 95 ft. It secretes this poison on its skin whenever it feels threatened. Anything that makes contact with the poison gets sick. It is not fatal. Easily frightened, it is usually covered with poison. To avoid scaring it, come up slowly, constantly making a small noise so it knows of your presence. Pet its wings first, then you may mount. The egg shells are see-through, allowing you to see the hatchling inside. They are a deep crimson, and are usually damp.
Iridescent Opalcrown
The Iridescent Opalcrown is possibly the sliest of all dragons. Incredibly rare and hard to find, this dragon has camouflage skin that can help it blend in with its surrounding. If they trust you enough, they will show you their gorgeous iridescent silver hide. They often create the illusion of a rainbow. While they may hide, they also love to play. Any game will do. Their crest on their head looks like a cluster of opals, in many shapes and colors. They are a good companion, and can camouflage anything touching them as well as themselves. The eggs are iridescent silver and have colorful patterns under light. They also blend in with their surroundings when danger is near.
