Whispernight wasn't sure but she go into a hunters position. She pounced on the mouse and it slipped out from under her paws. She sighed and laid down. "I'm useless... Maybe I should just retire early..." She mewed sadly.

I smiled as we walked out of camp. "Where to start... I guess you could start from the beginning."

Paintsplatter thought for a moment. "Well. After the second fox attack, I continued on. I cme across an unusual scent. It was another clan. They took me prisoner for a while and were going to have me killed when a badger attacked and I managed to escape. From there I continued my journey...." He went on telling her the most important things that he could remember. Like how he had met Owltail, the elder Owlstar had been named after. He told her how cool it was to meet one of the oldest cats. The elder he was named after was also one of the oldest, Paintstripe.

I smiled as I listened to his story. "I'm sorry you were taken prisoner, and I feel bad for that clan, but it's so cool how you met Owltail. I've never even met Owltail and I'm named after her. But I'm glad you got back safe." I replied.

I thought for a moment. "Well, we obviously have some new warriors, apprentices, queen, kits, elders, medicine cat,yo know, the usual. I don't really think anything else has changed though."
