[ ooc; please post things like this on the discussion thread! but, nothing has really happened. jaggedfang's patrol found jack, maplepaw and willowpaw are sneaking out to go on a walk, and redflame has taken flintpaw, featherpaw and sagepaw out hunting. jaggedfang has won the deputy poll and is now deputy, but that's about it ]

blizzardpelt frowned as he at the thought, sympathizing with the tom. "i hope that's not the case.." she said in a hushed tone to himself. he glanced through the leaves of the bushes as they waited for the return of snowblossom.

the she-cat smiled and watched as the she-cat jumped out of the tree gracefully. willowpaw carefully crept down and smiled, watching the her with a goofy smile. she's so pretty she thought, her eyes widening as she shook her head to push away the thoughts and following her behind the nursery and nodding. "wow, now i know how to sneak out without beethorn or batfang seeing me" she whispered with a giggle.

he grumbled under his breath as he trudged through the forest, his claws digging into the soft dirt with every step. he scented the air, his stomach growling for food. he flicked his ear and twisted his head, looking towards a mouse scrambling as fast as it could away from the cat. he quickly pounced on it and snapped its spine, licking his lips and eating it, then burying the bones. he smiled in triumph and continued on his hunting trip for more prey.

larkwing followed brambleheart as she glanced back at the appentices den with a hit of worry. had troutpaw gone out on her own? the she-cat discarded her thoughts and waited patiently to leave on the patrol.

Emberfall looked at the two others and then to Cherrystar. "I caught a glimpse of Deerspark disappearing but that's about it. I assumed maybe he was maybe catching up with a patrol." He shrugged and then actually forced a smile. "I'm sure that Deerspark will be fine." Inside he thought that was rubbish. He was probably meeting with some strange cat or something or running off as a lot of cats seem to do that but he kept it to himself.

Sagepaw followed the other cats along the flat terrain and smiled at the others. As Redflame questioned her, she glimpsed at the others who were younger than her. Her jaw parted to process the scent. As a hint was given it was very clear what this must be. "It is definitetly a squirell.. I think." She glimpsed at Flintpaw and nervously blushed however she managed to focus on the others, trying to draw her gaze from the other apprentice. "I hope.."

"Don't be afraid to cuff him across the ear. This is the fifth time he's overslept this moon!"

The calico let out a soft giggle. "I used to sneak out all the time and go to the river without being caught... until at one stage I nearly drowned. Remember when I was dragged back to camp by Batfang, sopping wet?" she mewed, a playful tone in her mew, "That was why!"
Her tail swayed happily behind her as she took a sudden turn, her ears pricked up as she quickly dove underneath a small flowering bush.

Sagepaw flinched a little as the fellow apprentice asked her the question. "Well, uh.. sure. I suppose.." Her back arched and she looked at the others and nodded. In the distance was in fact a squirrel. She knew it would be an easy catch as long as it didn't dart up a tree but Sagepaw was swift and stealthy. She shuffled towards the bushy creature silently her paws muffled. Then bang! She pounced and unleashed her claws and sunk them into the preys neck to insure an instant death, painless in fact. She grabbed her catch by the tail and dragged it over to the others with ease. "H-here's my catch!"

He blinked a few times. "I dunno," he began quietly, "We'll wait till the sun goes up a little more. If she's not back by then, we'll go get her." he suggested, the tip of his tail twitching against Jaggedfang's thigh, as he splashed his paw down, just missing a fish and letting out a slight hiss of annoyance.

the tom nodded in agreement and sad down quietly, flipping his tail over his paws and glancing around the forest. there was probably nothing to worry about, since the tom did seem fairly distraught.
