brief history: A former loner who wandered around for the majority of her life up until about five moons ago. She was captured by some twolegs who brought her to a shelter where she was going to be put down because of her feral nature until a kindly twoleg offered to take her back to her house and keep her as a barn cat. At first Princess wanted to leave but Cuddles soon convinced her that it would be better to stay in the barn where she would be safe and never hungry. She has learned to tolerate the twoleg presence, and is even grateful to them for rescuing her, but she will never be really loving towards them

brief history: Rejected by his mother because he was the runt of the litter, twolegs took him in to feed and even adopt him. At about a moon old, after he was weaned, he was pushed towards being an outside cat more and lived in the barn with Cuddles and Princess instead of the house. He is cared for by both older cats but Cuddles was the one to actually adopt him

Anyone else could make other barn cats that live with them if they want! Their twolegs pretty much accept in any cat that wants to stay in their barn. They like to give their cats cutesy names tho (button, snuggles, tinkerbell, ect) but a cat could choose to go by their old name instead of course
In the future they might start neutering their cats (as in, somebody told them that was the better thing to do) or they might not. Idk yet but it is a possibility

mhmm go ahead. yours could even be more of a typical kittypet (lives in the house more than the barn) if you wanted. the twolegs love kitties they just try to convince them to be out in the barn more so they'll catch mice but they wouldn't force one to stay outside if it didn't want to

Name
He was originally named Oak, but had his name changed by the twolegs to Max. He doesn't hate his new name, nor does he know what it means, so he just goes by Max in the barn and says his name is Oak to any forest cats.

Personality
He is pretty solitary and doesn't talk with other cats much. When he does get close to people he normally just sits with them and enjoys their presence rather than talk. He is nuetral on most things which leads most to think he's boring and so most people just leave him alone, which he's okay with. He values survival a lot, which is the only reason he stayed in the barn in the first place. His main goal in life is just to survive and have kits, so as long as he's alive and well he's happy.

Backstory
He was born a pure loner with a loner family where at least one of every litter stayed a loner. He was comfortable in his lifestyle. A bit after he left his parents to wander around and search for a mate like most of the family had he found the barn, where hunting was plentiful and there was shelter from the elements. At first he didn't like the idea of becoming a kittypet, but once he found out the twolegs hardly messed with them he decided to stay, and he has ever since. He still ventures out into the forest from time to time, just to enjoy the wilderness a bit, but for the most part he stays in his little corner of the barn.

Looks
He is a brown tabby with a white chest and amber eyes. He is a large cat who is taller than average, thus giving him his birth name. (I couldn't find a nice picture to put so here's a description.)

Would the twolegs call a cat Max? I couldn't think of any names they might give him, so Max was the best I could come up with.

yea they could have named him max. they are an elderly couple and the wife likes the cute names for the kitties (she named cuddles, princess, and teensy) but perhaps the husband decided that max needed a more 'manly' name or something idk
