He tilted his head as he got to his paws, once she was away from Bella he padded up to her. His yellow eyes soft, "I just wanted to thank you Winter, your one of the very few who have shown kindness to me." He smiled with a wag of his tail.

I regret to say I have a temper, and had I been in your situation, I would have flipped."
