I finally watched Mark's playthrough of Sister Location and...
wow.. I'm just mind blown.. So many things have been answered
and I absolutely love it! I shall be looking to get the book next!

I finished the game and got both endings this weekend and I just... holy crap, man, this game was a wild ride lol.
I haven't really come up with any theories so I don't have too much to say for the time being. though it really made me want to reread the book. if you haven't read Silver Eyes, I'd recommend reading it before playing, both for the lore and because I imagine it'd be kind of confusing without the context from the book.
I will say, I was a little disappointed in how short it was, but the voice acting and great modelling makes up for that. my only real issue with the game is that it just... wasn't very scary? I wasn't scared at any point, aside from a mild startle from Funtime Foxy because I stupidly ran right into 'em. it was dark, but it lacked that atmosphere the first game had that made it scary. but I felt exactly the same about 2, 3, and 4, so I probably shouldn't have been expecting a scare considering the games haven't really done that for me. I have to give Scott props for the models and the animations, though. the jumpscares in the older games were always just a bit... choppy? don't get me wrong, they weren't bad, I didn't even really notice anything wrong with the animations (except for Springtrap's run animation in the third being a little... odd) until now. after looking at SL's animations, they're so much smoother.

I remember finding a playthrough of the first game youtube after hearing about the games for the first time
I got to the first jumpscare and was like NOPE, that game did a lot with a little.

I dared myself to watch Matpat's GTLive playthrough of sister location yesterday while doing cosplay stuff, figuring since I'd be doing other things the jumpscares maybe wouldn't get me as much. And they didn't really bother me, at all. the only thing that gave me a lingering sense of dread post watching it, was the ending of the game.

I happened to be too sick to watch most of the videos on the game as they were coming out this weekend, which is why I'm a little late to the party

I have a question for you all. Which of the new animatronics is your favourite and why?

I personally like Baby the most out of all of them, because of how intelligent and cunning she is.
I mean, she literally speaks to you, guides you, etc. Oh, and I just love how Scott made it so that
they all can talk now, since I've always wondered what certain animatronics would sound like.
Funtime Freddy, I love you to death, but MAN do you sound like a jerk.
