The Artist and her work

Alayna looked proudly at her work. It was absoulutely perfect. Beside her lay a huge pile of pencil crayons and broken pencils. "Finnaly finished." She muttered to herself. After five day's work, it was done.
Was it?
"No. What else could I add?"
She stroked it with her paw gently. I wish you were real. she thought.
A Blinding flash of white came out of her sketchbook. In a couple seconds, she saw a green dog with white patterns, exactly like the one she had drawn.
Had her picture come alive?

"Why can't you tell me?" Her voice was desperate.

Navajo looked up at Ending and growled, "Because you won't be able to handle the truth." Then without another word, he turned and ran, ignoring her pleading calls behind him. If he even glanced back once and saw her tear stained face.. It would be to much for him, it was hard enough right then, but they weren't supposed to fall in love! He was her guardian! Not her lover! She should have gone back for Yen when she had the chance.. But now it wouldn't be the same.. Never again would it be the same.
