I'm not a traditional namer, and I generally rate and make names depending on how they fit the character, and quite a few of my names are in a lyrical fashion because I reckon they fit the cat, and because they sound nice and roll off the tongue well.


• Tawnyblossom; 3/10 ; I personally see 'tawny' being put for a darker tabby or a dark calico, not a cream tabby. It's a nice name, but since you didn't give any insight on what her personality would be, I can't exactly rate the suffix very well.
  
  
• Swallowfall; 2/10 ; Russet, white and black? Is she a calico? I don't see 'Swallow-' being used as a prefix for a cat like that, I see it more as a tabby or likewise pattern. How would '-fall' fit her? Is she clumsy? You didn't provide any description about her beside her looks.
  
  
• Swansong; 6/10 ; Yet again with the no personality bit, I can't exactly rate based on suffix fitting. Swan- seems to fit him nicely, and it's no time very often I see a cat described as 'feathery'


» My Cats


• Redflame; Redflame is an overly exciteable, sassy and hot tempered she-cat, who doesn't exactly take very kindly to any newcomers. However, that attitude will change if there are kits around, as she wishes to one day have two or three kits of her own. She is a primarily red calico shecat with amber eyes, medium fur, and average sized paws.
  
  
• Dapplefrost; Dapplefrost is a generally shy shecat when it comes to meeting new cats, and was rather jittery as a kit. But, when she grew older, she grew out of that and became the sassy, loyal shecat she is today. She can come across as cold, and her glare can be enough to shut a kit up in seconds. She does her job as the Medicine Cat very well, and it's hard to make her lose focus once she's down in concentration. She has a fair bit of an attitude, and doesn't like cats telling her how to do her job. She is a tortie-calico shecat with icy blue eyes, a narrow face and sharp ears. Her chest and paws are white, and most of her coat is a dark brown, almost black whilst scattered with white and brown patches.
  
  
• Blackwhisker; Blackwhisker is a quiet, yet friendly Tom, who tries to make friends with everyone just so he can have cats to be around. He's very loyal despite his awkward shyness, and will always be there as a shoulder to cry on if you need him. He is a medium furred, white Tom with a black splotched coat and tail. Both of his ears are black, and he has warm, brown-amber eyes
  
  
• Riverwish; This pretty little shecat is a quiet and thoughtful one, generally found in the medicine den helping out the medicine cats. She was never chosen as an apprentice, through she didn't let that dull her wishes and continuously helps out around there, and her clan generally accepts her as their third or stand in medicine cat. She's a silver bullseye tabby, with soft, lilac-blue eyes and soft, sleek fur. She has a habit of when she's alone, is to make a wish on the stars in Silverpelt for the health of her clan.
  
  
• Brightstone; Brightstone is a Turkish Van Tom, with yellow eyes and small ginger splotches over his body. He has a nicked left ear and a few scars cris-crossed over his back leg. He is a blunt, brutally honest Tom who is more than suited to his role as deputy. He can come across as rude or stubborn at times, though he really just wants to do the best for his clan.

Rosethorn-Red tabby she got her name for her thorn sharp claws and her pelt.She is very loyal but on the other hand she maybe a little bit to rough with her clan.

» Embercloud is a gorgeous dark grey she-cat with small ginger patches and white markings of a tortoiseshell. Her coat long and thick, often getting tangled easily with it's exceptionally long fur. She has tall and rounded ears with a deep pink nose with thin black lining and beautiful pale green eyes.
» Although she might not be the best at hunting or fighting, Embercloud has a steady mind and a calm aura. Though she is near to motherly, she has a depth of patience that is used best with soothing others that are hostile or shocked. She is very optimistic and loves nearly everything. She tends to speak her mind, before even her mind knows what she is saying. However, she's rather easy to confuse and trick.

» 'Cloud' for her motherly and optimistic personality

» While he may be soft spoken, don't take this for granted for Lightwhisker understands more than meets the eye. He tends to tease a lot, but always in good nature. While being stuck up in the medicine den may sound boring, he makes sure to fill his extra time around his family, getting to know them better. He's especially fond of his best friend and sister Embercloud. He's also a very good hunter and can sniff out most anything, whether it be cats, prey, or herbs.

» Hawkstep is a well-built brown tom with black tabby stripes and a white muzzle, paws, and a very fluffy white chest and belly. His eyes are an ice blue that are occasionally blurred but are still able to see most of the time. He has big paws and a very loud voice that he continues to attempt to control. He's very muscular and has a short coat.
» Hawkstep is a very loyal warrior and quite skillful in both hunting and fighting. He is intelligent and is sometimes the voice of reason in a situation if it demands it. He's bad at flirting. He is confident in battle but is a bit close-minded, but he tries to understand everyone else’s opinions. He is kind to those around him and quite calm most of the time, but comes to be very defensive about family and honor. Sometimes he needs someone to help him apologize for things he does, as he's often too honory to do it, but he makes up for his mistakes one way or another. He's loud and obnoxious sometimes but when situation needs it, he can be as silent as a hawk on watch. He's highly observant and can often tell if someone is lying to him or hiding something.

» Whitefang is a highly mysterious cat who doesn't care much for others. In fact, she downright hates them most of the time. Her past is unknown, so nobody really knows what made her this way. She has extreme trust issues and dislikes kits and liars. She does not like to reveal much about herself and would rather be left alone most of the time. She's extremely stubborn and often ignores others. She's a very hard-stoned cat, she doesn't listen well and defies the rules all the time. She is pretty care free, but will take bold actions. She's equally good at hunting and fighting.

» It is a sunny day inside of Dovecall. She is full of spirit, and very cheerful, although she can be rather hot-headed when she's angry; speaking up against others no matter how high the rank. She has a laid-back and relaxed personality, and she has a tendency to daydream. She tends to be rather clumsy as well. She's an excellent hunter, although she is slightly lacking in battle skills, but not so much so that she is a hindrance to her Clan. While her sister always tells her she should settle down and have kits, she has no intention of doing so, and wishes to serve as a warrior, not be stuck in the nursery. She has a cooing voice and has an ability to manipulate her voice only slightly to mimic a bird, but for a short time as it is not healthy for her throat. It is useful when hunting.

Embercloud - 9/10 = I overall really enjoy cats with the cloud suffix and it works really well with her colors.

Lightwhisker - 10/10 = I really like these two suffixes together. Light and whisker both naturally go hand in hand, not to mention the description of the cat fits smoothly.

Hawkstep - 6/10 = Hawk has never been a personal favorite prefix of mine, or word really. Just the way it sounds reminds me of someone coughing. Step is used well here though, and I like it more with step over some others I've heard.

Whitefang - 9/10 = This name reminds me of a dog more then a cat personally ( based off the film whitefang ) but it's a cute name and I like that it's used for a she-cat when at first I'd assume it was a tom.

Dovecall - 9/10 = I always like the name dove if it has the proper suffix and here call is a perfect combination to me. Her description goes well nicely to.

Thundercloud - A large white tom with stunning green eyes that gleam with wisdom. He is a brave and loyal warrior who would go out into the worst of storms to rescue his fellow clan members, with his courage and his passion for the warrior code he is determined to uphold with fierce loyalty and compassion.


Lightningstrike - a thinner more lanky white tom with long fur and cold blue-grey eyes, this tom has the a heart of a true warrior but gets ahead of himself in his eagerness for battle. He is fast, furious and will stop at nothing to protect his clan.


Silverlight - a silver she-cat with a white underbelly, face and paws. She has small thin black stripes along her pelt and blue-grey eyes. She is a bright and happy she-cat with a tom-like attitude who never takes no for an answer, she is skillful and perceptive of her surroundings and few can trick or fool this she-cat.

Sorrelcloud - Light cream tabby she-cat with cream and sandy blonde stripes through her pelt. She has sandy yellow eyes and a thick fluffy tail.

Thundercloud, 10/10, Great character! My only concern is that if you're naming him for personality, then kits don't have a personality at birth. Of course, I don't know how realistic of an environment you're trying for, so I won't dock points.

Lightningstrike, 10/10, Great! His prefix suits his appearance, he seems to be an excellent personification of a lightning bolt.

Silverlight, 10/10, A bit of a common name, but hey, that's not bad! Nice character!

Dawncloud; a small primarily brown calico she cat with brilliant green yellow eyes, a soft pink nose, and loving personality. She's mortally terrified of water, and is awful at fighting, but is a decently good huntress
Dawn - she was born in the early morning and had a loving personality at the start, so her mother gave her the prefix. Cloud - suffix given for her silky soft fur and her curious nature

Raventail; a tiny dark gray tom with the same eyes and nose as his sister Dawncloud, but slightly darker. He's much colder and less forgiving, but is overall a good hunter, fighter, and swimmer. He hates heights however, after nearly dying from being a wreckless kit
Raven - name given for his soft dark fur. Tail - suffix given for him being quick on his feet and agile
