Cloudfrost woke up quite early the next morning. Padding out of his den, he could hear some distressed cries coming from their medicine cat. His ears perked, he walked over to where Blossomsky was, to see Stump-paw lying down on the ground. This made his quite wary, but decided to not jump to conclusions. "What happened?" The male asked softly.

The feline padded into camp blissfully, jaws filled with prey. A successful hunt, bringing back prey for the Clan. They had recently exiled the medicine cat, but Bramblestorm still had a twisted feeling something was off. When she heard Blossomsky yelling and apprentice's name, the she-cat dashed to drop her prey off and trotted the den. Her heart dropped when she saw the motionless body of Stump-paw. "Oh StarClan..." she murmured.

Blossomsky looked at Cloudfrost, staring straight into his eyes "I don't Know!, I- I gave him herbs for his bellyache and-and He's dead!" She cried, feeling all that grief on her back as she thought she gave the wrong herbs.

Cloudfrost stood still, frozen to the ground. He didn't want to believe it, but the medicine cat had claimed an apprentice was dead. "A-are you sure? He can just be... well... sleepy?" He sat next to the apprentice's body, his eyes clouding with worry. "Oh, please wake up..."
