How did they get their trinkets?: Moonstone walked alongside his best friend, River. These two were both strays, but they felt they didn't need owners. One day the two of them were scrounging around in a dumpster, and a dog found them. The dog barked ferociously as the two friends backed up against the wall, hissing. Then a human came in. It shouted at the dog, and it ran away. The human crouched down to pet River, but Moonstone backed away. The human offered food to them, which Moonstone reluctantly accepted. The human stood up and walked away, and the two followed them. They followed the human inside their house, where it gave them toys. Moonstone tied some of the toys to his tail. Him and River lived with this human for awhile. But then their owner moved, and couldn't pay for them. So now they have been adopted again. But Moonstone has always kept those toys on his tail. (btw River is just made up. might adopt one named river though.)
