You should keep going with this plot and make it bigger. Just a suggestion. And if you do and need help, I'm always willing to help with a story.
What is life but another story for the ages?Names no longer matter when those we cared for no longer care for us.

This is amazing! You've got a really good plot, you should try and expand it. If you need any help...I'm in PM-calling range!

The Pirate Ship
As I sleep alone upon the sea shore,
I dream of a pirate ship taking me forth.
They thought me a vagabond, a robber, a thief,
And so I was made Commander-in-Chief.
I was no longer dreaming, this life became real.
I’d become a true legend with a cutlass of steel.
My treacherous mission was one to admire.
The buccaneer, Blackbeard I was to acquire.
The Americans, his captors would not set him loose.
My plan was to save him from the hangman’s noose.
As Blackbeard, the pirate hung from the rope,
I sent my blade flying, to slash it with hope.
I had finally accomplished my dangerous goal,
The captain awarded me with a flag on a pole.
And then I awoke once again on the shore.
With the flag lying next to me, was I a pirate? An outlaw?
