With a nod, the she-cat quickly finished what was left of her mouse before licking her lips and sitting up. She bent her neck slightly and began grooming her chest, her tail curling over her paws.

Striking his paw down into the warm waters of the river, his claws gripped into the scales of a fish. Within the twitch of a whiskers, the fish was down on the riverbank, slammed down by Blackwhisker's paw. "I'm not sure," he began, "but the tom looked too upset over something to do anything."



Redflame

Practically leaping into the air as she turned around, the calico she-cat smiled and began padding out the left side of camp and towards the twoleg place. A soft breeze picked up as the trees began to thin slightly, and the terrain began getting more smooth. After a few moments, she paused and scented the air- squirrel- before glancing back at Sagepaw. Deciding to test the apprentice's skills, she asked, "Sagepaw, do you smell that?"

Ears pricking up, the calico's eyes lit up as Willowpaw offered to take her on a walk. "I'd.. I'd love to!" she mewed with a smile, a light chuckle escaping her lips. "But we'll have to sneak out, I know a way where we won't be seen-"

Pausing for a short moment, the tabby dropped his blue gaze back down to his paws. "Jack… M-My name's Jack." he mewed quietly, still not trying to drop his guard in the slightest as he was still rather aware- and a little unsure and confused- about this she-cat. What did she want? The tip of his tail twitched slightly, mainly out of awkwardness. "H'what's yer name?"

"Smell what?" The siamese questioned sniffing hard, trying to locate what redflame had noticed, even though it was for Sagepaw, She wanted to make Redflame proud, she wanted to be a warrior, yet she couldn't locate the scent

Blossompaw yawned as she stood up and looked at the herbs and started sorting them, In alphabetical order, No rainbow order, She couldn't decide. Instead she just sorted them.

Shadepaw finally decided to actually do something, other than walk around being useless. Useless The word rung in his head as he ignored the thought walking over to cherrystar. "You know I'm here right" he said Sighing inside his tail swishing back forth, slightly worried. "Also Stormblaze is being really lazy, like usual" He stated

willowpaw cheeks heated as the she-cat accepted the request. her eyes lit up with excitement and she nodded happily her tail swaying in anticipation for their adventure. maybe we can get closer from this? she thought and smiled. "okay, lead the way!" she chimed.

he grumbled under his breath as he trudged through the forest, his claws digging into the soft dirt with every step. he scented the air, his stomach growling for food. he flicked his ear and twisted his head, looking towards a mouse scrambling as fast as it could away from the cat. he quickly pounced on it and snapped its spine, licking his lips and eating it, then burying the bones. he smiled in triumph and continued on his hunting trip for more prey.

larkwing followed brambleheart as she glanced back at the appentices den with a hit of worry. had troutpaw gone out on her own? the she-cat discarded her thoughts and waited patiently to leave on the patrol.

Pausing mid-lick, the she-cat glanced up at Shadepaw. "Then go wake him if he's being lazier than a mouse in leafbare!" she said quickly, a bit of her sterner attitude returning, bursting the bubble of her good mood almost instantaneously. "Don't be afraid to cuff him across the ear. This is the fifth time he's overslept this moon!"

He nodded. "I agree. And, there seemed to be a grave or something he was leaning over? Maybe someone died?" he asked curiously, watching with slitted pupils as the fish made a final dying flop, before laying still on the riverbank. He smiled softly- a successful catch.

"If it helps," the she-cat began, "I can smell something small with a big bushy tail~" dropping hints at the fact that it was a squirrel, the calico turned her gaze back to the other apprentice with a soft smile. "Can you smell it now?"
Sitting down and curling her tail over her paws, she waited patiently for Sagepaw to respond. This was the same thing her mentor- Lilyblaze- had done when she was an apprentice, dropping hints about what sort of prey it was, before the white she-cat had accidentally gotten hit by a monster whilst chasing a rabbit right in front of her eyes.

Leaping gracefully out of the tree, the young she-cat glanced both ways to make sure nobody was watching, before slipping out behind the nursery, where the large folds of the butterfly bush covered her as she walked. "This way!" she hissed playfully, her whiskers twitching.

"I uh... I've been here for about... seven moons?" he began slowly, blinking a few times. "I'm generally a traveller, but... I don't want to leave here since Mark..."
His tail went limp over the grave, his eyes beginning to cloud over again.

Jaggedfang frowned slightly. "I hope it isn't a grave." He mewed, looking back in the direction they had left Snowblossom and the loner. After a moment, the long-haired tom got to his paws and padded over to where Blackwhisker was, sitting down next to him, watching the surface of the water for any fish.
