The tom never realized that the other tom had turned towards him while he was talking to the apprentice. Now that Hawkfang and the apprentice were ready to train and all, he was planning to go and head back to camp. Though, that wouldn't be necessary since Hawkfang had offered him to join them in their training. He looked at the other tom in surprise for a moment, but then nodding. "I'd- I mean, yes of course," the tom said. He wondered why Hawkfang would want to have him join him and Slatepaw in their training. Maybe for convenience? Or maybe, perhaps, Hawkfang just wanted to spend more time together? 'Pffft, don't be silly,' Rowanbranch thought to himself.

Yellowpaw went looking around for Rowanbranch. He hadn't seen the tom all morning.

He watched Slatepaw leave, then rested his head on his paws and went back to sleep.

She watched Fernleaf leave, then took her own leave. Once again, she set out to find her apprentice, Nightpaw. She knew he had to be around here somewhere, though she wasn't sure where. She poked her head inside the apprentices' den, but didn't see him. She sighed, and wondered if he had gone out of the camp. Probably. She headed towards the entrance, intending to look for him.

Hawkfang tried not to look too overjoyed, "Great! You'll be able to learn some things from Rowanbranch too, Slatepaw, he's a formidable warrior" the tom told his apprentice before sitting down in front of her, "Today, we'll be going through catching prey during leaf-bare. Many animals hide away during leaf-bare, as it's much too cold for them, especially with the snow. I doubt we'll find many mice or voles, so we'll be focusing on birds today. Slatepaw, what can you tell me about catching birds?"

The warrior looked at Hawkfang with bright eyes, he was glad to be spending some more time with the tom; even if Hawkfang wasn't even that excited himself. He settled down beside and a bit behind Hawkfang, listening to him talk to Slatepaw. 'Formidable? You really think so?' he warrior thought quickly to himself blushing a bit, looking down at the ground for a brief moment. When he lifted his head, he looked at Slatepaw.
