greypaw quickly dodged to the other side, just as lilypaw had expected. his gaze instantly flickered over to her as he kept alert. he was not about to let lilypaw win, even if he had won the race earlier. he was about to become a warrior today and he had to show her that warriors were difficult to beat. though lilypaw was still a great fighter, considering she was a lot younger than him at the moment.

loner growled. "exactly why you should talk to her! you know her better, you can comfort her. for me - it won't make her feel better. she doesn't even know barely anything about me. don't even start. just... talk to her." and with that, he disappeared back into the shadows, hidden from the reality of the world.

berrypaw sighed and stared at her reflection. her ears were laid flattened against her head as a tear slowly fell down her cheek. she couldn't stand this. her father was a miserable cat and didn't want anything to do with her. she bet he didn't even care she was hurt right now.
