The tom ran in pursuit of a white hare. He leapt and caught it, crunching it's fragile neck between his teeth. ``Thank you, StarClan, for this prey.``

After catching another squirrel, he headed towards the tree, joining up with Jaggedpelt, who carried a rabbit in his jaws and a vole between his broad shoulders. "Good catch," Smokefoot mumbled as they waited at the tree.

Snowstorm was laying outside the nursery when she felt a pain in her stomach, she looked around for Brindleheart believing that the kits were coming.

He returned, blinking with the hare in his jaws.

He flicked his tail. "I think this is good enough to go back," Smokefoot meowed, glancing at the setting sun. The wind ruffled his fur. "What do you think?" He narrowed his eyes at Whitepines.

``Yes,`` He decided. ``Sounds good. Snowstorm might be hungry, Waterstar and Brindleheart too.``

"Alright." Smokefoot picked up the squirrel and the woodpecker, and started heading towards the mountain that loomed above them.

He padded into the entrance of the camp, the roar of the waterfall soothing his ears. The weather had cooled down a lot since they had left, and the rocks had a nice cool touch to them. He put his squirrel and rabbit into the pile, turning towards Jaggedpelt, who was behind him. "Do you want to take something to Snowstorm?"

"Yeah," Jaggedpelt replied, putting down his vole and taking the squirrel towards the nursery, when he saw Snowstorm. He noticed her face was twisted with pain. "Snowstorm?" He dropped the squirrel, darting over to her.

Snowstorm looked over at Jaggedpelt "Looks like your in time for the kits" she said as calmly as she could, "Will you find Brindleheart please?"
