Jackheart sighed in relief as she picked up Ravenflower's scent. She poked her head in the medicine cat's den and gave Cloverdream a small smile. "Hey, you need any help?"

"I'm fine, thanks," retorted Ravenflower, gently spreading the last of the cobwebs over Cloverdream's wounds. "I'm perfectly capable of treating a singular patient on my own."

Sunpaw was surprised at Ravenflower's harsh tone. Jackheart was only trying to be friendly.

Jackheart shrugged, Ravenflower's sharp tone seeming to bounce off her. "All right then. I'll be outside with Dartfoot." She smiled comfortingly at Cloverdream. "ravenflower will have you fixed up in no time." Jackheart withdrew from the den and padded outisde, laying down besides Sunpaw and Dartfoot. "Everything looks fine."

Windpaw trotted over just as Jackheart was speaking, "It was rats right? Can't they get infected?" he asked worriedly as he sat down.

Jackheart nodded solemly, ears perking up at Windpaw's voice. "Yes, rat bites can get infected. But I trust Ravenflower. She'll keep Cloverdream safe." She nudged Dartfoot gently with her nose. "And how are you feeling?"

Sunpaw nodded respectfully to Jackheart. "Yep," she replied. She gave Dartfoot a friendly flick with her tail. "He hasn't died yet," she joked.
