what in the world is a floodle? wrote:Floodles are soft smushy bush monsters who love fruits and berries, though they can stomach just about anything! When in danger they curl into a ball that resembles the bushes of their home land. These creatures are very snugleable and they come in all shapes and sizes! These animals tend to live in packs of five to ten, they are very social and bond closely with their friends! While we don't understand them, they seem to have a human level of intelligence with their communication, though they dont really have the thumbs to build like we do. Some have been brought back to earth for further studies.

Extra; Sam hid under her mama's fluff staring out at the her herd. She had been quietly contemplating all-day. She made a pact to herself. Now was the time that she would finally go and play with the other children. Her head was racked with terrible possible outcomes that streamed into her mind one after another. Maybe they would tease her or worse, refuse to be involved with her. Her stomach grumbled and her anxiety worsened. She was undeniably uneasy and squeamish.
Many of the traits her mama praised, Sam felt exorbitantly self-conscious about. Her long mane was unusually shiny and refused to cooperate in any attempts to tame it. She disliked the patterns covering her body. She believed that it made her look like a rock. Once, she had tried to discuss it with her mama. The only response she got was that, "Looking like a rock isn't a bad thing. It means it would be easier to hide if you were in danger, dear." Sam had responded with a snarky comment which had promptly gotten her in trouble. She was devastated to also find that her fears were established more than ever.
Sam snapped herself back to the present. She didn't enjoy thinking about that moment. Forcing herself to move, Sam stepped out of her mama's fur. Slowly, her paws moved her shakily towards the rest of the herd. She was so nervous, it felt like her bones were shaking as well. Her tongue was dry and she wasn't sure if she spoke that words would come out. Despite all of this, her legs kept moving her towards her destination.
Sam halted and stood up as straight as she could and barely moved a muscle. "H-helwpfflo," She had bitten her tongue.
Sam's cheeks flushed and her spots nearly turned bright red. Some of the pups stared at Sam's ever-growing blush while most of them hadn't even noticed her. Suddenly, one of them started laughing. "Hello!" It seemed they had understood Sam's poor attempt to speak and had found it funny.
Even if the embarrassment seemed to be through the worst of it, the flush on Sam's face didn't calm down. She quickly rolled into a ball in a feeble endeavor to hid herself. A pair of eyes peeked through her long fluff. "Hey..." A soft voice coaxed her, "You wanna come play with us?"
Sam looked up from her defensive stance. "Hello." She crooned ever so softly, not fumbling her words this time. "I would really love to."
One paw at a time, Sam stood up. The other floodle bolted off and Sam gladly chased after them.
(sorry if this is too long! this floodle is so cute and i wanted to write something that had happened to them in their past that maybe helped them develop into a (barely) functioning adult)
