Nebbia hummed in response, a part of her was a bit disappointed at not being able to go out to hunt but that was minimal compared to the immense joy she felt in that moment. Hearing Soldier say those three words filled her with an emotion she hadn't felt in a long time. the twisting of her gut and the rapid beating of her heart was a strange though oddly pleasant feeling and she knew she felt the same for the male, for her mate.
A laugh escaped her as as she pressed her nose back against Soldier's as she spoke her voice soft and sweet, "I hardly even noticed it, thanks to you I'm as warm as I can be. Your right though," Nebbia sighed tilting her head so that she could gaze up at the sky still thick with dark grey clouds refusing to let the light of both the moon and the stars shine through, "we should head back like you said, the snow is getting heavier as well. It wouldn't be good if we go too far out now 'less we want to become stranded in the cold."

(Sorry it's been awhile things at school have gotten really busy and stressful lately)

Soldier smiles, pressing against her side for 'guidance'. His mate. His beloved. His. He would do anything for her. Lost in thought he almost misses Nebia talking. "And get the cat we killed, fresh meat is always welcome. " he notes the thick snow, wonders about telling the packs. Telling them he loves her. "I could always get you back. " It's as much a promise as a threat - but not to her.

Nebbia smiles softly leaning back into the male beside her. Her body seemingly immune to the cold now thanks to the heavy flush of her skin beneath her pelt, warm blood circling through her veins. The light of the moon could barley be seen past the heavy grey clouds that overwhelmed the sky swarming the air with thick white snow. Had it not been for the time she spent in these woods the packs den site would be all but lost to her. Thankfully that wasn't the case as she requignized the leafless trees burnedned by the snow, a grin spreading across her maw as she lead the way back to the camp never straying to far from Soldier's side as she pushed through the snow.

Soldier picks up the previous kill with a sense of pride, he was providing for her. For the pups. The pack. A thrill ruses through the dark wolf and he stows the cat away in the kill bank under the snow. "I wish I had never deceived you, and the packs, then I would take you to camp, instead of you plowing through the snow," is muttered thoughtfully. Blue eyes are downcast.

Nebbia smiles softly pausing so she walked by Soldier's side, "If I'm remembering correctly, and do tell me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember you stating you will now live as a sighted wolf earlier in our exploration," She touched her nose to the side of his head hoping her words would help him if even slightly.

[Alpha*]

Soldier frowns, was this true? His eyes are thoughtful, "it is too late now, Nebbia, but you are correct. " the fur across his shoulders shivers and lays flat again. "We are here." He returns the simple but affectionate gesture to the one he loves. An ear flicks. "I forgot."

A grin forms, "It's ok, don't worry about it," Nebbia assured pressing her side against Soldier's as she looked around the camp. Not many others were out, only a few who had waited up to see when their alpha would return waited in the snow before retreating back into their den to rest beside the others. "It's late anyway, we should go to sleep, hope the storm is over in the morning." She sighed making her way to a den formed by the roots of a tree and various large rocks, the alpha's den. The opening peeking past the snow along with the monsterous birch tree notified it even existed at all. The small fae pushed at the snow digging the rest of the opening free and already she could feel the warmth from the den radiate onto her fur.

Was he to follow her? He blinks at the tiny space. He would be hard pressed to, and even then, he doubts it. Soldier turns from her, "Sleep sound Alpha Nebbiah." Is hummed and he retreats into the storm to find shelter when she is out of sight.

His ears flick, longing for a sound from her, he only catches the wind. His dark pelt lit's in a gust, chilling his scarred back, he surpresses a shiver.

The male wolf, rather than getting lost, makes a pit in the snow and curles inside it, letting the drift cover himself. Many a night had he slept under worse.

At least it doesn't stink.

Nebbia frowned at his words, hearing the sound of fading paw steps, he wasn't going to stay in the den? Sure it was a tight squeeze to crawl into, but once inside it was rather roomy. "Soldier, you don't have to..." she poked her head out of the den; however, Soldier was already out of sight.

He looks back, hearing her voice. Returning to the den entry, "Nebbia?" Is asked cautiously. A sweet smile plays on his mouth, rather ruined face. He's near enough to touch her, he licks her muzzle. "I don't have to. .?"
