I know I've asked before but? Could I get some critique/feedback on this piece?

It was my tryout piece for Toby and I'd like to know what I could be doing better with, or what I'm doing well? I'm honestly curious. ; v ; I also have been thinking about opening commissions but I have no clue what to price myself at, so if you guys would be willing to provide some insight that would be very beneficial!

Do your kalons talk with their parents often? If so what's their relationship like? - Answering for NB kiddos
Altair doesn't talk to his folks literally at all, he's totally cut ties... and he's kinda not a great kid.
Demilo and Myron don't talk to their folks much either, they've both become more independent since moving out and... well effectiely moving on with their lives. Myron in particular really wants nothing to do with his family while Demilo more or less just doesn't have the time to come home and see everybody.
Eternity regularly visits her mum!! Eternity loves Destiny, and they enjoy tinkering together and working in Destiny's workshop/lab area. They have a very strong relationship of mutual respect and love, now that Eternity is grown they treat eachother more like equals, though it's understood that Destiny is still in charge.
What pets does your kalon(s) have?
Toby has a snake, affectionately named Percival by Malachi.
Masoa has a white kitty named Ohna.
If they could be a dragon, would they be a dragon?
yes - altair, ambiance, destiny, eternity, myron, spectrum, toby.
no - benni, demilo, masoa, sceptic -- they may be swayed however because dRAGONS ARE THE BEST!!

what does your kalon/s smell like?
altair - a variety of different things, he ends up smelling like wherever he was last-- and considering he's a bit of everywhere, well... yep it is a variety
ambiance - overpriced cologne/perfume
benni - rain or the sea
demilo - flowers of every variety
destiny - fire-- kinda sooty? a bit like burning metal, or an active blow torch
eternity - nothing in particular, she just smells like her shampoo tbh
masoa - novelty air freshener smell tbh, he has this stupid pine scented tree-ornament in his car and it makes him smell like air fresheners
myron - roses and overpriced cologne, generally v v nice
sceptic - 100% pristine cleanliness, like the inside of a hospital room-- sterile
spectrum - freshly cut grass/leaves, for some reason. he honestly doesn't understand why
toboggan - the woods and outdoors, kinda sweaty tbh
what are their favorite smells?
I'm not really sure honestly, but most of them like the things they smell like oops.
If your kalon could be any of the seven deadly sins, who would they be and why? ex; greed, sloth, gluttony, ect.
altair - greed -- because he's a greedy travelling merchant as it is
ambiance - pride -- they can be very overconfident in themselves and are a bit self-obsessed/narcissistic
benni - envy -- he often envied other kids when he was growing up because he could never connect with other kids his age due to the constant travel, and he still does envy those who are socially savvy
demilo - sloth -- he doesn't really fit any of the other sins honestly, and he is a bit lethargic and tends to nap instead of hanging around with people, preferring to stay in bed
destiny - lust -- she had a bad habit of 'sleeping around' in the past, which only recently really mellowed out, that is to say she's still a kinda dirty minded person who makes crude jokes
eternity - sloth -- she's so heckin lazy, eternity is the lord of procrastinating, especially on her college work tbh
masoa - envy -- he's very quiet, tends to lurk more than speak and he often observes everyone around him changing, while he's standing still-- leading to envying them
myron - lust -- myron is a total flirt, he's rather prideful but I think lust probs fits him best, considering his intentions oops
sceptic - wrath -- he's kinda an angry little dood, but he's also p dirty minded really
spectrum - gluttony - he has bigger eyes than his stomach and tends to want more than he needs, that and he eats when he gets upset or sad
toboggan - wrath -- he's more likely to be angry than any of the other sins really, he doesn't exactly fall in line with the others honestly but he isn't very angry either tbh
what is your kalon/s favorite animal and why?
altair - altair likes raccoons a lot because they have the little 'thieves' masks on their eyes, you can find them absolutley everywhere and they're kinda mean little buggers but they're still cute.
benni - he likes birds of any variety, not owning them but more or less just watching them overhead at sea
eternity - eternity loves cats a loT
masoa - massy also loves kitties tbh
myron - myron will fight you if you say cats are better than dogs
spectrum - he loes ducks and swans-- even if they are mean, he thinks they're pretty to look at
toboggan - he likes deer a lot but he's becoming attached to his snake
what does your kalon/s home look like?
altair - no home, nomadic
ambiance - a very nice mansion, basically-- furnished with lavish fixtures and a lot bigger than they actually need
benni - he lives on his ship but has a home in the center of his home state, which is modest and tucked away from the sea-- it brings up bad memories for him, though, so he usually doesn't loiter there
demilo - he lives in a modest house with more cutesy furnishings and colors, he spends most of his money on his garden, which is within a greenhouse outside his dwelling. his house is also absolutely packed with potted plants.
destiny - she lives in a pretty nice house, but her big warehouse out back is where she spends most of her time. it's basically a big, glorified lawn shed-- but it's actually an independently functioning lab-- and destiny loves it
eternity - she's currently living on campus at her college, so in a single-room dorm
masoa - he lives in a small apartment, but he's alright with that. the place has a nice window-- and the only thing masoa has really decorated with would be the christmas lights above his bed-- he's not a very extravagant person. he has a really big mug collection he keeps in the nice cabinet space though.
myron - his apartment off-campus is pretty nice, honestly, and looks like a bachelor's pad. he has a lot of nice artwork, candles and fine silk stuff around, making it the perfect place for a candle-lit dinner.
sceptic - he has an average-sized house which he keeps insanely tidy. his furniture is kinda minimalistic but he keeps a ton of blankets and pillows around
spectrum - he lives in a nicer house with more upper-class accomodations, though he's not really boastful about it. he doesn't decorate very much, but what he does have in the way of furniture is nice and looks proper, while not being over the top.
toboggan - he lives in a cabin by the woods, which is in pretty good shape! he really likes his cabin honestly, though it's pretty modest
what is your kalon/s occupation?
altair - travelling merchant
ambiance - professional actor
benni - seafarer who delivers shipments of goods
demilo - college student currently
destiny - inventor / scientist
eternity - college student currently
masoa - works simple jobs, hasn't really found anything he loves yet but is trying
myron - college student currently
sceptic - dentist
spectrum - no occupation, living off his parents money tbh
toboggan - takes people on nature walks/tours and hikes, scavenger
If your kalon was given a large sum of money, what would they do with it and why?
altair - pocket it out of greed and hide it away for something later
ambiance - add it to their infinitum piles of money... they're great, they'd probs donate some to LGBT pride groups though, they have v strong feelings regarding those issues.
benni - he'd probably buy a better boat, or perhaps a legit house for himself so he could actually live his 'dream' and be a normal kalon
demilo - donate it all, more than likely
destiny - use it to buy more supplies for her research
eternity - pay off student loans //D
masoa - move into a better house and relax a bit rather than pushing himself to work jobs he isn't comfortable with, maybe go back to school?
myron - some to college, some to savings
sceptic - probably keeps a lot of it for a worse time, while donating some
spectrum - again likely donates it all, primarily because he doesn't really need it
toboggan - he probably wouldn't even begin to know what to do with it honestly, he's never had money like that

Here are some criteria that I require!:
- Boyce is homosexual so the kalon must be male identifying! gimme all dem bois
- He lives in a forest during a medieval/fantasy time period, so no modern kalons please!
- We must head canon a bit at the start to make sure that it can fit into his backstory
- He'll likely want very little connection to his kid(s) as it was only a one time thing
(Maybe he doesn't even realize that he had kits! :0)
- I'd prefer if your kalon has edits, but at very least, the designs should look nice together!

I'm so pleased to announce that I've finally finished typing out Nightingale and Baozhai's histories !!!

this is Seneca, my sweet bby

precise || intelligent || charismatic || scycophantic
Seneca looks fairly harmless, what with their enormous blue eyes and the roundness of their face. In reality, however, Seneca is quite the opposite; they have a natural skill with guns that Jonquil envies, and a way with manipulation that sends even Jon's most jaded clients into a shopping spree. Seneca knows precisely what to say to get their way and unfortunately, they rather like getting their way. They manipulate without much conscious thought, and consider it someone else's misfortune if they get caught up in one of Seneca's traps. If they're foolish enough to trip into it, then they deserve whatever the outcome may be. They're exceedingly charming and fluctuate wildly between being childish and endearingly mature, depending on what they think someone wants to hear. Jonquil and their brother Ezekiel are the only two people are who allowed past this brusque exterior and see Seneca for who they truly are. They love both men enough to never try to manipulate either.

They're very bright and pick up things quickly without much formal education, and get bored without a significant challenge. That's the primary reason why Jonquil asked Beauregard to home-school Seneca; they're far too wild for school, and get only wilder when they're not properly stumped on something. They quite often say things they don't mean as they have a short temper and are liable to snap at people, inflicting damage where they're most vulnerable. Seneca may feel bad afterwards but apologies do not come natural to them, and if they ever apologize it is solely on the behalf of Jonquil or Ezekiel. They crave praise and affection although they would never admit this aloud, and love Jonquil for he gives them both. Jonquil is openly affectionate to the children and is constantly mussing Seneca's hair or praising them for selling some enormously expensive gun or simply reading to them when they have a break in the day. Seneca likes physical touch as well, and can sometimes get quite clingy.

and this is Euthalia !!!

bashful || congenial || passive aggressive || cheeky
Euthalia is like a pretty little bird that no one expects to bite. She's quite shy and affectionate and wonderfully endearing; she has a habit of lowering her eyes when she's speaking with someone and it always makes her seem pleasantly bashful. No one meets Euthalia and expects her to have teeth. In reality, however, Euthalia is immensely passive aggressive and has a protective streak a mile wide for anyone she considers 'hers'; this includes friends, family, distant relatives, even people she sees on the streets that she assumes need a helping hand. She's been training with her dad Pan for as long as they've allowed it, and she's found a steel column instead of a spine. Euthalia does not bow to anyone, and she's terribly prideful but she's rarely aggressive, so if someone is kind to her she's incredibly kind in return. She believes in second chances and think everyone deserves one, with only a few exceptions made. She's very patient and tolerable of people's bad moods, and she's completely unable to maintain a grudge. Euthalia is simply very forgiving, if she's given any sort of excuse to forgive. She likes to touch people when she's talking to them, casual, affectionate touches on the shoulder or arm or hand.

She makes friends easy because she comes off as so genuine, but Euthalia is pretty passive aggressive. She's got a helluva tongue on her; she knows exactly what to say that will hurt someone the most, even if that will cause a rift between them. Sometimes she doesn't intend to hurt people's feelings but she's so brusque that she does it anyway without thinking. She's sarcastic and sassy and although she respects her dads she has no inborn respect for other adults; she believes you have to earn respect to get respect, no matter their age. Euthalia generally considers physical fights beneath her but can handle herself astoundingly well in one due to her training with Pan. She likes protecting people that need someone watching out for them. She likes being the person someone thinks to call first in an emergency situation. Euthalia has a calm demeanor and can maintain her cool in an emergency, so she often does get called first when there's a spider somewhere or a wasp stuck inside.

And I am also on the lookout for relationships for my Kalons, Hollis and Cosima. However I'm going to try something a bit differently. So if you see there they are blank in their pages namely because I don't have a lot of ideas really set in stone for these two save for Hollis being an actress and very dramatic and Cosima being a confident little go-getter with a passion for philosophic sciences. So before anything I kinda wanna reach out to some of you guys. Relationships are what shape a character (and people), good or bad.

So like namely I just wanna see if ya'll would be cool with having friends, distant relatives somewhere, enemies, rivals, heck even crushes. I just kinda get bored making up this stuff on my own so yeah man. Just hmu if you're interested. And the same goes for just about any of my kalons really.

They have their pages/information but relationships and things kinda help shape those a bit better so like if you're looking for that too, hmu. Honestly all my Kalons could use some relationships that aren't just romantically involved.

But yeah other than that....I got nothin. Just pm me if you wanna rp/headcanon/doodle the relationships and such.

hey, guys! so, as you can see from the text above i am going to be doing a kalon art raffle! just fill out the form that is linked to the above image and you will be added to the raffle, then on october 10 i will draw the winner randomly, and that person will get art of their kalon in a halloween costume! pretty self-explanatory, but.
examples of my art here on my dA! the piece will be fullbody, with a choice of it being pixelated and animated.
i may do these once every month, honestly? i'll see how it goes!
