There's eleven rainbow smoothies on the game, and at least several dozen sunjewels. Yea, its worth a sunjewel. Have you been stalking any rainbow smoothie auctions lately? o.o

I think what she's trying to say is, even though it is very rare, there isn't much of a market for it. I personally wouldn't really want to spend a sunjewel on an item, even if it is very rare.

Yeah, but MANY more people collect pets than items. And I, for one, would rather have pets than a single item. IDC how many there are. It's an item. This is a collectible pet site.

The list shows supply AND demand. And I don't think the RS is sought after as much as a SJ.

And no, I don't search for RS auctions because just like many of other CS-ians I'm not looking for it.

Yea, I suppose items are in less demand. There's still enough people looking for the Rainbow Smoothie to put it at the top of the list in my opinion, though.

The Chicken O's Items probably will end up a bit lower on the list then they would have been without demand coming into play but I still think they deserve a spot on the list. I know not everyone is interested in them but at least then the people who are interested in them would be able to get a better estimate of worth.
Like the Nick Unicorn, for example. Its worth at least as much as a Banana but because not many people are interested in it it gets placed next to Growing White July. But its still on the list.
If the Nick Unicorn is on the list and not many people want it, I think the items should be on the list too.

pointless.

There are only so many item collectors who actually want the rare items,
while as most of the population want the pets.

It would be unfair of us to stick items in this list - it is followed by many people
and that way we would force the opinion of 'Rainbow Smoothie is worth a Sunjewel'
on everyone who comes here for rarity checks.
For many people those items aren't worth that. I would never pay a Sunjewel for
a Rainbow Smoothie, nor would I pay VR's for the Chicken O's items. Because
I'm just not interested in them.

Having people running around shoving these items at others because "The Rares
list says it is worth this so this trade is totally fair you should accept!" is just
going to end in a disaster and a Trade Rant Thread explosion.

Even if they're fairly low down because the demand isn't high, at least there'd be a *somewhat* better way of telling how much they're worth.

The Nick Unicorn is a pet. Hence it is on the list. It also recently turned OMGSR
and currently a lot of people are yearning for it, paying insane amounts for it.

Comparing a pet with not so huge going rate to an item with a even lesser going
rate doesn't make sense at all.
