Alrighty, time to do some detective work here!



With the unclaimed adults! I agree that our purple eyed pup here has a high potential to be CoalChaser's.

PPS ARTIST COULD BE: Bentley, Berkshire, Draca, Fiery Gatoh, Lacuna, Pandle, Saikiyo, or Solarizing. No confirmations or denials from these artists.

Narrowing it down further, PPS pup doesn't quite fit the style of Fiery, Draca, Saikiyo, Bentley or Berkshire. Leaving us with Lacuna, Pandle or Solarizing, based on style. Lacuna already did a PPS pup previously as her staff pet, and said she doesn't like to repeat themes/patterns. Leaving us with Pandle or Solarizing, both of whom haven't given us much in the way of hints.

I think Pandle made our first adult in this line up (Seems to fit with her style of textures, but I'm not ruling the PPS out entirely) and that Solarizing made the PPS, and Coalchaser our final adult in this line up.

A lot of people thought the lucky number 8 had connections to Chinese culture, but actually it's in reference to the atomic number of oxygen. I suppose it's not so much the pup's lucky number, as it is our lucky number. It connects to Erwin Shrodinger's book 'What is life' because the photosynthesis by cynobacteria are thought to have enabled life on Earth (as we know it today at least) by producing the Great Oxidation Event. The strings to photosynthesis connect, of course, to the tree design.

I actually didn't get a chance to complete an adult stage, which I'd planned to do as the design in full bloom, because I moved to Hong Kong in August. Nonetheless I'm quite happy with the final outcome, and I think next year I'll take another step closer towards the more intricate and elegant designs that other staff are able to produce.

what I love most about this pup is that people were demanding a PPS version before it was done growing XD I was sitting there "guys guys, you aren't even sure it WON'T be a PPS calm down" and now we have the opposite side going "MUST HAVE ADULT!" I'm dying over here. XD I have no guess as to who made it, but you have my immeasurable pity you doomed artist. XD

Catheren, you have just given me a stroke of pure brilliance! We all petition to have TWO staff months! Ones for kits *pokes foxy*, and one for the GUPPS! It would be fabulous! Cause we all get DOUBLE THE STAFF PETS WITH HALF THE WORK! (And the adults can't be trolled either!)

So! I want to try and make connections to the fox being Berkshire's, since I really wanna see a denial/confirmation.
When they sent a link to 'it be me staff pet', their dressup, it had a green nose. This fox has a green nose, and that is the only similarity.
I'm not sure what the 'personal meaning' could be, however. Those things are, well, personal. They're hard to figure out!
"There IS orange on my pet!" This fox clearly has orange on it.
"Mine lacks wings!"
This fox definitely doesn't have wings...

So, Berkshire, is this your fox?
I would've made this a little longer, but there weren't many hints to go off of...

The ears were definitely edited much like the bunnydeer ears were, and the shading/coloring is pretty much the same as Berkshire's work.

How come none of the staff who made a pup are posting anything when there's an adorable change today..? Wouldn't it be pretty good to confirm the fox pup and bask in the squeals of users...? Or maybe not..

Which still leaves me wondering who created the currently only unclaimed adult pup now. ALSO for tonight OMG I'M SAD. I WAS HOPING TO SEE AN ADULT FORM. But nonetheless, still very cute. No idea who made it, though.
