"It's not like I can go anywhere," she said. "But don't you have to ask the leader or something?"

"A leader can't deny the care of a patient." Speckleflame replied, nodding her head.

Lightheart watched Poppy and Speckleflame interact for a distance. He was too far to hear what they were saying but Speckleflame's body language made it obvious that she was getting frustrated with the loner. He pitied the medicine cat for having to deal with such a mousebrained outsider but he wouldn't go back over there unless his life depended on it. And even then he would hesitate. He really did not like Poppy. He wasn't someone who was just naturally mean or even incredibly quick to anger either she just happened to really know how to get under his fur.

Weaselfur didn't respond right away, seemingly thinking about what she said. "Nah." He eventually said, "I don't need to freeze or starve to death. I imagine it would be unpleasant." Already, his paws and ears had gone numb and he knew he had to be getting back to someplace warm soon if he didn't want to risk losing a limb due to the cold. He was a cat bred for living indoors pampered by twolegs all his life and not a robust, naturally born clan cat. Of course, he didn't desire to go back to kittypet living though or else he would have done so by now. "Perhaps once it gets warmer. But even then, I like the steady supply of food. They have a leader now. I don't know his name. I'm not so certain that a leader should look like a kit though." Weaselfur meowed, expression and voice rather neutral.

"I guess I could stay, but not for long. I don't want to be a bother."

Tiger puffed out his chest at Blizzard, trying to appear impressive. "I'm Tiger," he said cooly. "Who are you?"

"I'm Blizzard," she squeaked. She pointed at Beesplotch. "I followed him!"

[PopcornWaffle]

Too late, you're already a bother. Speckleflame thought with an eye-roll. "No, it's fine. Stay until you've healed." She responded.

She yawned. "Is there a place I could sleep?" she asked.

"Yes, there is. You'll stay in my den." Speckleflame nodded.

"I think I know who you're talking about. Tinystorm, isn't it? Doesn't surprise me he became leader." Clover shrugged. "Well anyways, if you say so. If they're doing better it might be good to stay there. I'll be keeping out though, clan life isn't really my thing." Clover meowed. "Nice talking to you though."
