"Can this guy get his BUTT OUT HERE! I'm HUNGRY!" He shouted with a chuckle. He earned many odd looks from the others in the restaurant. He blushed.

What? No! I wouldn't dream of it. I just need to see his gem for a moment. As long as it's the same gem, I can get something out of it. Emerald looked her. Each gem has it's own code. Well, maybe more like resonating. Or something. Well, once knew a gem who could locate gems by using some weird ability to "hear" their gem. Once saved my hide with that. Anyway, if I can get that exact one, I can make a perfect fake clone of Rose Quartz. Won't do anything unless I make it, so it's kind of like a decoy that way. If the Diamonds see what looks like Rose, they'll pull everything they have at it. Now this is why it needs to be an exact copy. The diamonds can do the same thing. The know where a gem is, as long as it's within a certain range. That must be why they can't find Y.D. They can't "hear" her. So, if someone was to shapeshift into Rose Quartz, it still wouldn't work, as the Diamonds would know it's a fake. If I can pull the exact copy from ths "Steven", I can trick the Diamond's into leaving themselves defenseless. You see what I'm getting at?

Emerald stared at her and noticed her worry. You care about him, don't you. What makes you think that scanning his gem will hurt him? I just need him to hold still. Wherever he is. He looked at the other gems in the room. So does anyone here know Steven? I need him.

"Over here Emerald," She said nodding ahead to the rose quartz human who had himself bubbled. She quickly glanced over at Thulite and couldn't help but get a uneasy feeling.
