Murderers in Riverclan V.1

Panic surged through the camp as the votes were
collected by Fawnrunner. Cats whispered in small
groups, their voices hushed as though they thought
talking too loud would make the murderer strike
again.
At last, Fawnrunner padded up to Frostystar, who
looked just as nervous as her clan. "Cloversky"
was all the Deputy said. A gasp of horror could
be heard from the crowd of cats as the chocolate
tortoiseshell stood up, her whole body shaking,
"But it wasn't me! I would never hurt my own
clanmates!" Cloversky exlaimed, her voice
cracking as she felt the eyes of her clanmates,
former clanmates now, burning into her pelt.
"I'm sorry Cloversky, but the clan has spoken"
Frostystar said, keeping her voice level,
though there was sadness in her eyes.
Cloversky hesitated only a second before
turning tail and fleeing, leaving Riverclan
and all she had ever known behind her.

At the next gathering, Frostystar asked
if any of the clans had seen her, though
it seemed the she-cat had left without a
trace. It is thought that she may have
been captured by twolegs, though with
no sign of her for many moons, her
whereabouts remains a mystery.

His eyes lit with surprise as Cloversky was exiled, he didn't think it was her, we'll find out tonight he thought and padded towards the Warriors den to chat with whoever was inside

The crescent moon shone down onto the Riverclan
camp before being dulled as a dark grey cloud
drifted across it. Cats had retired to their dens,
though many were still shaken by the events of
the previous day.

Little did they know that the murders were far
from over.

Spotpaw emerged from his den, unable to sleep.
He padded forward, not exactly heading anywhere,
and found himself by a stream. Settling himself
down on the bank, he watched the water flow
rapidly, and the reflection of silverpelt in the
blue water. "Starclan help us" he mumbled
quietly, closing his eyes and dropping his head onto
his front paws. The rise and fall of his chest was
the only indication that the tom wasn't dead, as
he was lying perfectly still. It seemed that the
murderer took this as an invitation to make sure
the tom didn't awaken, as soon enough the same
shadow that had taken Firefeather's life appeared.

The murderer moved silently, approaching the
figure of the medicine cat apprentice. Slowly,
paw by paw, they moved until they stood next
to their fellow clanmate. "Goodnight, Spotpaw"
the murderer whispered, and delivered a fatal
bite to Spotpaw's neck.

His blood ran down the bank and into the river
as a second Riverclan cat joined Starclan.

The murderer strikes again! Spotpaw, your guard, is dead.

"I hope we made the right decision" the cat said to themselves as they pawed out of her den.

Antleaf had been awake now for a while, and was sorting herbs alone. It was a lot of work, and he needed help. "Spotpaw?" The old medicine cat called. No reply. Maybe he was out. They could finish sorting later, it was pretty early, so Spotpaw was quite likely sleeping.

Heatherpaw was awake early and noticed something was missing in the Clan, more than just the exiled cats. He walked out of RiverClan's camp and walked toward one of the streams to see Spotpaw dead. Oh StarClan, we've not found the right cat yet...
