i went to the rock and roll hall of fame today and they had these
little booths where you could listen to all kinds of artists with
surround sound- so i went in y'know, bc why not. they had
welcome to the black parade and i probably stood in there
for like, ten minutes, internally crying to myself.

MCRX is so good, oh my god <3 I'm in love with most of the demos, especially Gee's little throaty scream in the Mama demo.

Also, for those of you unaware, Bullets is now officially on Spotify/iTunes/Google Play Store, although I don't know if it's everywhere quite yet. I think it's pretty cute that Bullets appeared on Spotify at the same time as MCRX - hopefully they planned it cx

MCRX is really, really neat! My ears are satisfied! There are quite a few on there I wish they made studio recordings of, because they would have been amazing :3 My god it's gotten me all nostalgic though! Just hearing his voice, and the instrumental styles, along with the fact that a lot of them sound as if you're at a live concert.... Makes me really wish I got to see them perform, as well as wish this type of music was still super popular. It's great to hear unreleased stuff come out, almost like a new album, but it's also the process and progress towards the final versions we know! The different versions of House Of Wolves especially do this, since they gave two along with the final, so the changes are fun to follow as they worked through the song!

Also... Bullets is appearing places!? YES!!

MCRX is so good. I put my Black Parade poster back on my wall. I thought I was done being scene but no, here I am again.
Also, I have had my Bullets CD stuck in my car for three months now and it is a blessing.

Also also, have you guys heard the Twenty One Pilots cover of Cancer? What do you think of it? Personally, I was disappointed. I think Tyler failed to capture the desperation and longing that Gerard does in the original that really make the song so heartbreaking. It's strange because so many other songs (even other covers) Tyler Joseph sings are so full of emotion.

So there's an app called ifunny which allows you to post any fandom so I run an account for bands. I've seen so many people crap on TØP for the cover and it makes me sick. I've been very disappointed with the MCR fanbase and how they're being toxic. I personally don't like the cover that much. I am a fan of Twenty One Pilots but this is not their best work, in my opinion. However, I feel like it may appeal to people who enjoy their genre.

I was definitely expecting to see a huge change in the song, and that's what we got. I do think it fits TØP and people were disappointed when it wasn't a dark emo acoustic.

MCR is/was a legend. In all honesty, I love that we're getting a collab album. Their memory is living on through other bands. That's absolutely fantastic!

I hope fans of all bands with treat each other with respect and act with decency but I fear that won't happen. I'd love to be proven wrong.

So please guys, don't be rude if someone likes the covers. Music is subjective and everyone will feel differently about it. Don't make someone feel bad for liking something new.

This is so true!!! A lot of people who don't play music themselves expect covers to be exactly like the original which doesn't make sense because why would you listen to a cover when you can just hear the original?!? I was completely expecting what tøp did with the song and after hearing it a few times, enjoyed it. My only thing was that it didn't really feel like Tyler was believing what he was singing which was a little off-putting becuase he's very good at that usually. I hope my original post didn't make anyone feel bad.

I actually thought the Twenty One Pilots Cancer was beautiful :3 I'm still of course partial to the original, but I still think it's a good cover and a different take on it. That's kind of my opinion on the whole collab album itself, I like it, but I'm partial to the originals. Cancer was my fav from it though. The bands that worked on it are pretty awesome, and I still can't get over the fact that Asking Alexandria, a band I love almost as much as MCR, COVERED MY FAVORITE SONG FAMOUS LAST WORDS!!! I'm such a fan girl help. X)
