Alfred pulls his gloves over his paws and sighs. "I guess it's another late night." he mumbles to himself. He stands in the dimly lit room and glances over to the patient who is unconscious. "Think you can do it?" a nearby kalon asks as he exhales smoke. "Can you please not do that here. It's disgusting." Alfred growls at the other kalon. "Fine fine. I'll be outside then." the other kalon sighs before walking to the door to leave. "Just like you." the other kalon whispers to Alfred with a smirk on his face before he leaves. "Terrible joke," Alfred grumbles as he moves next to the patient and begins his work. The sound of clicking instruments and the clock fills the room as Alfred work for hours. A couple of hours past when Alfred finally looks up from his patient.
"Done." he puffs to himself.

He walks over to the sink wash his tools when the other kalons comes back in. "I couldn't expect less from you. He looks better now." the kalon said happily. Alfred sighs, "Can you guys try to get into less fights please?" The other kalon laughs, "Sorry about that! He's just so hot-headed." Alfred finishes cleaning up his tool at the sink and turns to put them into his pouch. "Well, you do help provide me with money to pay off my debt so I shouldn't complain too much." he says to the other kalon as he gathers his stuff and the suitcase of money. He, then, heads towards to door. "Thank you for your business." Alfred says as he leaves. The clock outside ticked 3 as Alfred walked home after a long day.

I'm 27 now, but I feel 60.

Alfred lived with his parents most of his younger kiddo life. They were strict and forbid any activities they believed was harmful to him. These things included but not limited to swimming at the local pool/pond, going to a friend's house, and having barbecues. This led Alfred to a very lonely childhood. Most of the time, his parents would force tasks and skills on him. They forced him to learn the piano, learn advance math, study social science and more. He spent most of his minimal free time doodling and reading.

Then when Alfred turned 10, his parents forced him to go abroad to study. Alfred didn't really care. He didn't have any friends and he wasn't really attached to his parents either. So he went and found himself in the medical department as his parents wanted him to become a doctor. Two years past and now Alfred was at the top of his class, his class of 16 years old. Many of them was jealous of his talents at being a doctor. Half way through the year, his parents stopped contacting him. They unfortunately passed away during the war in his hometown. Many of his neighbors didn't survive either as civilians were also targeted and the lack of medical assistance to the wounded. When Alfred heard the news he felt a hint of sadness he never felt before. However, he wasn't broken down crying like some of his peers and he continued to train to become a doctor like his parents wished. Soon he ran into a problem and that was money. Alfred would now have to pay for his own classes and 5 years of medical school is not going to be cheap even with the scholarship he received.

Eventually, Alfred moved into dorms as they were cheaper than a whole apartment. He was lucky and was only sharing his dorm with one other kalon. It was a decent sized dorm but it wasn't enough space for Alfred. He soon graduated and bought a large house at the top of the hill. However his ever growing crippling debt continued to floursh. Alfred ended up not being able to find a job at a hospital or clinic and instead he reunited with a kalon named Leon which introduced Alfred to his life of being an underground doctor that fixes up criminals and mob bosses for a living.

Hey! At least it paid well and Alfred was able to pay off all his debt in a couple of years.

Alfred stood at the opposite corner of the dimly lit room and stared at the kalon across from him. She ignored him and waited. The door slammed open. "Sorry I'm late!" the other kalon shouted out of breath. Winter looked at them silently. "Hahaha... Umm.. Here are the files for patient." the kalon mumbled as he passed the papers to Alfred. "Thank you and also can you explain who she is? She's been here before I was." Alfred asked as he pointed to Winter. "Ah! Her name is Winter and she is the body guard! Ahahaha... Sorry for not tell you?" the kalon replied. Alfred sighed and began his work.

Alfred grumbled to himself as he drags his suitcases up the stairs and in front of a door. Fumbling with his keys, Alfred tried to quickly open the door and failing miserably. He grunted in distress and pulled his luggage through the door. "Oh hey! Are you my dorm buddy?" A voice asked in the dark. "Umm who are you?" Alfred grumbled. He didn't come here to make friends. "Hopefully they aren't annoying." Alfred thought to himself. "Ah! I need to introduce myself! My name in Leon and I am majoring in Computer Engineering. How about you?" the voice chirped. "My name is Alfred and I'm going to become a doctor. Please don't bother me while I am working." Alfred mumbled in reply to Leon.
