"Alright.. Just.. if the movie ends.. turn TV off.." Essence said, she dozed off into sleep.

Darwin got to the last fourth of the movie before he fell asleep.

Essence woke up to the sound of cars passing by, when she got her phone out it was already 8:25! "Oh my gosh, Darwin get up were late!" Essence said.

Darwin jumped when Essence woke him up. "What time is it?" he asked his voice groggy from sleep.

"8:25!!" Essence freaked out. "Mom call in for me, I have a fever!" Essence lied. "Call your mom, maybe she'll let you stay home." Essence said.

Darwin called his mom. She said he could stay home. When he hung up he turned to Essence. "What is today?"

Rose walked into the school building and went to first period.

"Friday, why?" Essence asked. "OH MY GOD! It's Friday! Your band, concert, thingy!" Essence expression changed.
