Does anyone else tend to have waves of when trades involving your hoard pets come in? Like you suddenly have multiple coming in and then have none for a while?

Yep.
Came upon like six Dark Wood dogs within a few days. Haven't seen one now in months.

Other hoard pets seem to be the same. It is kinda weird. But I just go with it. ^_^

That happens to me too! Seem to be in the trading "wave" right now though

I have a question, what technically counts as a hoard? o: Do the pets all have to be exactly the same?

I have This Group, which I've completed/filled with chicken smoothie pets that I feel reflect various aspects/lines/characters from the studio ghibli movie, Castle in the Sky.

I also have This Group, which is based off of pets that have the same designs, across different species.

Both of these are thematic "hoards" I guess, do they count?

i personally would classify them as collections / themed collections more than hoards. c: since you're collecting one of each pet rather than multiple of them. hope that helped ???

I consider a hoard with multiple of the same outcomes. Can be a litter, lineart or theme (like bunnies, multitails or purple)
If it's just 1 outcome of each I consider it a collection.

Just started up a new hoard! ^-^ or rather a branch off of one of my other hoards. Coconut Octopus! Love them! I used to have them all in a general "Squid motif" Group, but decided to make them their own group. 7 and counting! (technically 9, but I kept one in the motif group, and have one in my general canines group.)

I'm considering hoarding these guys. I love how cute they are as chicks, but none of them are PPS and I'm not sure if I'll still like them as full chickens. I plan on deciding once they start growing fully.
