While the Doberman is very cute in my opinion, I am starting to love the Native American Indian dogs a lot more. I love how they almost look like wolves, and seem to get along well with their human companion. The breed is amazing. Still, Dobermans will always be my (second) favorite.

I'm OBSESSED with by the way, and the other is brown! I love how they're less common

My favourite dog breeds are poodles, whippets and border collies. I own two poodles, they don't shed so they can go on the bed with me and not get fur everywhere. Also they are very cuddly and friendly, they are so gentle as well. Border collies because they are so beautiful and also intelligent and they need a lot of excercise and can play fetch for hours. Whippets because they don't need grooming or brushing at all, they are very gentle and look adorable.

If I had to choose a favorite dog breed would be dachshunds. I had 2 of them, male and female, who were like a married couple. I love how awkward their bodies are, because they are so long with such stubby legs. I just love them so much!!!

I totally agree that HORGIS (husky and corgis) are the best crossbreed ever! They have the fluffy energy-filled huskies, and the short little stubby legs of the corgis!!!

I do find a lot of cross breeds adorable and they do say that a cross breed normally has better health than a pedigree but when I see dogs that are completely different breeds like huskys and corgis crossed, I can't help but worry and feel a little sad that there are people who will purposely cross breed them especially when they have no idea of the risks and complications that follow.

I can't just pick one breed, since I do adore a number of them but here is my top 3!
And in no real particular order.

1. German Shepherd

A staple in a good old American dog, this breed can be very versatile in breeding and training; which I think makes them fun since you can have GSDs for working line that are on the force or those working on a farm. Then go and turn it around for just a great family dog that can go camping or a trip to the beach. PLUS every GSD I know tend to be love bugs that take up most of the bed. The only down side is that they are pron to anxiety and there are a lot of bad breeders out there that have ruined the breed for some. My own dog is a GSD, so far the smartest thing Ive ever had and she is my best girl. <3

2. Standard Poodle

THE HAIR! I love all the curls, the different styles they can be cut into, plus they are another versatile breed! Some people train them to herd, they make great service dogs and tend to learn quickly. You can bet my next pup will be a SP, probably by 2018, once my Val is 2yrs old. Everyone thinks poodles are froofroo but I have also seen them used in bite work!

3. Dachshund <3

This is a more personal favorite of mine since my first dogs were doxies, and I had them for 15.5yrs; sadly both of them passed on only about 2 months ago. You can never find a more confident little dog, they hold their heads high and act before they think. Pretty head strong, tough to train but worth all the trouble. I don't think I'd ever own another tho, since they would never compare to my Benji or Penny.
