Jinx

Jinx hid her frown at his harsh... comment. It's too obvious... She did as he said, moving her legs out a little more and then getting her body up a little more. With her tail as straight as she felt was needed, she hopped forward. Her landing wasn't as balanced or graceful as his. In fact, she almost felt forward in the snow. "Urm... How was that...?" She questioned eagerly, her tail high in excitement.

Vipereye didn't answer immediately, sitting down in the snow with his tail curled around his paws. "It was an improvement," he stated finally, his eyes sliding closed for a second before he opened them and focused on her once more. "However, you were off balance from the moment you jumped. You need to balance your weight before you jump, correcting in the air will just assure you don't have anything to show for it. Your weight needs to be mostly on your back legs, and most of the force behind the jump needs to come from them as well."

Leopardheart sighed he was hungry so he went to the fresh-kill pile and took out a mouse. He sat in a patch of snow that was shallower than the rest.

Splashfoot nodded "you can try" he smiled and then he sat down, waiting for the she-cat to take her hunting stance.

Blueheart let out another weak cough, and started towards the warriors den. Maybe she just needed a bit of rest? Maybe it's help with her asthma - maybe it wasn't her asthma...

Jinx

Jinx took a deep breath, shaking the snow from her fur. "Okay, okay. I'll try again." She stretched her legs, crouching back down in the same-ish position. Balance... Balance. She leveled her weight more this time. She leaped once more, her balance not perfect, but not so unweighted that she toppled over. "That was good, right? It was good?" She questioned enthusiastically, despite the chills in her paws.

"It was better." Vipereye relented with a slight yawn, standing once more and stretching. "Still a bit off balance, but better. The real question is, can you actually catch something?" He asked, tail flicking towards a better hunting ground.

[Katrione]

Cricketpaw ran ahead of Embersky, her tail sticking straight up as she did so. Her black and white pelt still had the downy look that most kits had. "Where are we going to train?!" Cricketpaw called back, trying to remember the training place was on their territory.


Soaringbird nodded. "Yeah, it's getting a little bit too cold to stay out any longer." She mewed before leaning down and picking up her snow hare. Rustpaw shifted the scrawny vole in his mouth so he had a better hold on it before nodding in agreement, his long tail flicking back and forth.


Flamingpaw squeaked excitedly before taking off after Cootrunner, her bright ginger tail sticking straight up over her back. "Come on, Tom!" She called excitedly to the tom as she followed Cootrunner. When she was a kit, Flamingpaw had no energy and would just sleep around all day, now she was as energetic as her littermate, Cricketpaw.

Emberkit

Emberkit could hear Pinepaw's digging, which was way off. He slowly emerged from the snow like a vole out of water, creeping up on the apprentice. Finally, he flopped onto her, fake hissing. "Moles beat warriors~!" He shouted, putting all his weight on her, which wasn't much compared to her even if Emberkit was a large kitten.

Tom

Tom nodded. "Yes, yes. Of course!" He caught up, walking along side Cootrunner happily. "So, hunting crouch... How'd you think you're doing, Flamingpaw?" He questioned the younger apprentice eagerly. Despite his own doubts of his training, he didn't tell anyone about them and always was nice to the other apprentices.

Jinx

The longhair she-cat was excited when her two-legs let her out. She was cooped up inside yesterday when more two-leg kits came over. The younger ones always seemed to enjoy rubbing her fur, and she didn't mind much until it was pulled. Jinx stretched her legs, walking through the nice smelling garden and out towards the "rough and tough" forest. As she walked, she was mostly looking up at the tops of the trees, wondering if she would ever see what the top of them looked like... Without realizing, during her walk she had passed over the scent barrier of another cat's territory (the clan's) and was strolling on through their land.

Jinx's ears pricked up excitedly, following after the wild cat. "Really? I get to catch it??" She questioned happily. She had only every eaten one squirrel, which she didn't much like it. Fish was actually pretty good, but she wouldn't complain about fresh-food instead of brown pellets.
