although i personally do not agree with using moon in a cat's name, i say that bluemoon should be accepted. there is a cat with the prefix of Moon- who was accepted. as well as a Sun- cat. the sun is sacred to the clans just like the moon so to not allow one but allow the other wouldn't make sense

idk about the books, i haven't read a lot of them and hardly remember individual cats tbh.
the sun might not have specifically been mentioned as sacred, or maybe it was i dunno, but i just kinda assumed it was. the moon is treated as more sacred of course but why wouldn't the sun be too? it brings light and warmth and is basically just the opposite of the moon. if anything you would think that it would be held with higher reguard than the moon because of those things. this is all just sorta speculation on my part i suppose though
