Naturally it's his favorite, but it also helps as he is on a strict 'no carmel coloring' pop diet. He used to love Dr. Pepper, but it began to become to much of... well bleh. It tasted fake and was overly sweet. Gingerly on the other hand... It have a flavor you could zone into, and was the perfect amount of sweetness for him.

Irving has always been a huge fan of dark colas. Growing up, his mother always drank diet Pepsi, and while he enjoyed it he really didn't know how amazing a dark cola could be until he tried Dr. Pepper for the first time. It was just so crisp, and it burned going down, but something about the flavor struck him in the right way, and he has been thoroughly addicted ever since.
