Viperpaw's eyes widened in shock, staring at the smaller she-cat for several moments, unsure of what to say. His yellow gaze softened and he lurched forward, pressing his muzzle gently against hers, a purr rumbling in the back of his throat. "Oh Sagepaw." He purred. "I love you too."

Mossvine burst into camp, amusement glittering in her grey/light blue eyes. The long-haired brown and ginger calico she-cat let out a shriek as a bundle of dark golden fur barreled into her side, quickly followed by a short-furred dark brown and ginger calico she-cat.

"Get off me, Lionroar!" She giggled, shoving the dark golden tom off of her. Her brother growled playfully at her before hauling the other calico she-cat, Sorrelheart, off Mossvine as well. Mossvine nuzzled her littermates affectionately.

Mossvine pulled away from her littermates, looking around the clearing for Stormrunner.

The tiny she-kit made a snuffling noise when she felt another cat picking her up by her scruff. She wriggled excitedly, thinking that her mother had come back for her. She let out a high-pitched squeal when she didn't recognize the scent of the cat.

She wriggled in the she-cat's jaws, her tiny paws flailing.

he sighed. "sorry, it's alright, streamrunner. i'm just... angry." he meowed. "i'm glad you were here to talk to though." he smiled, looking into her eyes.

He whimpered, remembering the oath that all medicine cats had to take when they started their training.

"it's quite alright. i would be outraged if i'd seen what you had." she reassured him, a soft smile on her muzzle as she looked back at him. still being a shy cat, she kept her distance. usually cats didn't want her around.

now bored out of his mind, the young black tom sat outside the den, looking around for some cat to hang out with. he saw moonstripe stomp into the warriors' den, but just shrugged. it wasn't his problem, so he shouldn't need to worry about. independance is key, he remembered his mother's words as clearly as her death. yes, help out your clanmates and yes, allow them to help you in return, but remember there will come a time where you must stand alone. therefore, independence is key. he sighed and looked down. she was meant to be here with him, to watch him thrive as a cloudclan cat, but she wasn't.

a young female loner prowled through the undergrowth like a panther, tracking the scent of a rabbit. soon the fluffy brown creature was spotted and she swiped her tongue across her jaws. then she sprung, kicking up a cloud of dust as she flew into the air. soon she landed on the rabbit and killed it with a blow to the head. it let out a terrified squeak before falling limp, causing the calico to purr with triumph and satisfaction.

"i-i'm sorry," she began. the calico fae wasn't sure how to comfort him, as she was usually better at just offering emotional support. "some cats just don't think of the consequences." streamrunner edged forward a tiny bit, still uncertain as to whether he liked her company. she smiled sadly, trying to comfort the handsome tom.
