"Hello to you!" Brightpaw mewed, batting her paws at him. When it didn't work, she tried to kick him off with her hind legs. She was still pinned down. "You can't keep me forever, you know." she playfully meowed as she squirmed in his grasp, trying to wriggle out.

Brightpaw returned Patchpaw's smile, but she was still not sure what he and Snowbreeze had set out to do. She looked around. The forest seemed normal in this area. But she could still scent the vole. "Can I catch the vole?" she asked, flicking her tail in the direction the scent was coming from.

"Okay." Brightpaw crouched down. She looked around until she saw the bush she suspected the vole to be in. Brightpaw slowly stalked forward, and around the bush, being careful not to step on any dead leaves or twigs. Finally, she got close enough. She dashed forward, making leaves erupt into the air behind her. The vole started to make a run for it, but was stopped as Brightpaw swiped it into her paw, and bit it. The vole went limp. Brightpaw happily trotted back to Patchpaw and Snowbreeze. "That's the first time I've caught something for a while," she commented, dropping the vole.
