well -leaf represents someone who is talented with herbs but i wouldn't suggest that suffix as your only choice since you don't know for certain if your cat will be picked as medicine cat apprentice and he could end up not knowing about herbs at all if he isn't chosen
since medicine cats are caring, -flower could be good if he has a love of kittens and is particularly good at caring for them
or -cloud if he is really calm and patient
both are good medicine cat traits imo
or maybe -heart if he has strong belief in what is right and what is wrong(even if some cats might not agree with what he sees as right and wrong) and really believes in himself
-fur, -pelt, and -stripe are for cats who are all around just average with no particularly over the top skills. -face is for this too but only if the cat also happens to be particularly good looking

-nose is for someone with really good senses, their smell especially, and who are good at tracking. a medicine cat should probably be good with their nose to help distinguish herbs so this could be a good one too
-storm is for cats who are hotheaded and a little unpredictable. might not exactly be a 'medicine cat' type trait though...
-whisker is good at hunting, like i said, and -claw is good at fighting. both not really medicine cat things i suppose. -fang means good at both hunting and fighting
-tail is for an agile cat who is good at things like jumping and climbing trees
and -foot represents someone who can run faster than most
there. now i've listed pretty much all the suffixes from the traditional naming system and their basic meanings c:
idk about others but Ratpaw will be Ratstep. It's a suffix that goes along with the prefix (i.e. foxstep, badgerstep, ect) and his will represent his quick, but quiet way of moving
Rosepaw will just be Rosefur or Rosepelt because she doesn't really excel at anything in particular
Chubpaw will be Chubcloud because hes super chill
those are my megalitter babies
AND batwing is accepted
