It all makes sense, no worries! ^^
1) A brand is just a little marking on their hip to show that they've been accepted into the registry ^^ Her mom has a brand if you'd like an example of what it would look like! In terms of "realism," the brand is essentially a special type of freeze brand, so that it shows up the color of the horse's skin but doesn't hurt them at all like a hot brand would c:
2) She can only be registered as one breed, but she can be approved by as many breeds as you'd like so that she can produce horses of other breeds, so take your pick c: Does that make sense?
3) Yes, completely free! Only thing is that her sire will need to be approved before she can technically be registered as a particular Warmblood, which you are welcome to do if you have strog13's permission to approve him for whatever breed you'd like to register her as c: It won't change his breed at all -- just means that he can produce foals from then on that can register for those breeds if they meet the standards c: That will cost you, though, as he isn't already registered and can't be as a Thoroughbred, so it's up to you to decide if it's worth it ^^

That sounds great! I'll put her up as an American Warmblood as soon as Bold in the River is approved so that she can be registered! ^^
If the horse is registered when you approve them, then there are no fees for any breed approvals you'd like c: If the horse is not registered, then it is 100c per breed ^^
By the way, horses don't need to have their parents approved by each breed in order to be approved for them as well! They just need their parents to be approved for the breed they're being registered for -- they can be approved for any number of breeds that their parents are not approved for so long as the horse itself meets the qualifications c:

Horse: Cavallo AboveBreed(s) of approval: American Warmblood, Hanoverian, Holsteiner, Trakehner, Westphalian, Rhinelander, Selle Francais, Belgian Warmblood, KWPN
Additional notes: the "parent one/two" requirements are only for horses that wish to be registered as the listed breed, correct? if not, then ignore the hanoverian, holsteiner, trakehner, and selle francais approvals. also, just a clarification, approval means the horse is able to produce offspring of the approved breed, correct?

Yes, that's correct! ^^ I do have to note, however, that neither of her parents are approved KWPN, so if you wanted to submit that approval form for those breeds so she could be officially registered as KWPN, that would be great c:
Cavallo Above was successfully approved for American Warmblood, Hanoverian, Holsteiner, Trakehner, Westphalian, Rhinelander, Selle Français, Belgian Warmblood, and KWPN.

i'm sorry, i must've misunderstood? on the kwpn breed standards it only states that the parents must be of an approved warmblood type. if i'm mistaken then i will resubmit her registration as an american warmblood. thanks!

Oh, my apologies! By "approved Warmblood type," I meant that it had to be approved for that breed as well -- it could be any registration of Warmblood but had to satisfy the standards of the type the foal is being registered as, which is where the approval comes in ^^ I'd be happy to change her breed to American Warmblood but it would also be just as easy to approve both parents for KWPN and keep her registered as such! I'm being lax with the requirements while I figure out how to make it more fair to both bred horses and gen zero horses, so long as the horse has excellent stats in most areas c:

mm, both Olympus and Blur are really not cut out to approve for KWPN. it's alright, i'll just change her to American Warmblood - not a bad breed at all anyway!
